Comprehensive quality evaluation is an important way of middle school education and the reform of high school and college entrance examination.In this process,an effective evaluation model can clarify the teaching goal of cultivating students’ quality,and can also promote students’ long-term development.By hosting practical courses related to design and art topics in the open practice activities of Beijing junior high school students,more than 20 practice sessions have been carried out and nearly a thousand junior high school students have been received.Based on this experience,I conduct research and investigation on domestic junior high school students,basic education at home and abroad,and evaluation methods,and understand the current curriculum system and evaluation status of junior high school students.Compared with developed countries,the training of design art courses in my country is still in its infancy,but the practice of integrating design art courses into basic education has gradually begun,and there is also a need for scientific evaluation and quantitative results.Based on the above research and analysis,the evaluation model was constructed.First,the literature method was used to study domestic and foreign literature and policies,and word frequency statistics and openended surveys were conducted on the qualities that junior high school students should have.They were classified and de-duplicated,and 33 quality characteristic words were obtained after classification;in-depth interviews were conducted with more than ten subjects such as front-line art teachers,class teachers,students and parents to obtain specific descriptions corresponding to the quality characteristics;finally,the audience was distributed Likert Scale Questionnaire,dimensionality reduction and weighting of the data were carried out to obtain a preliminary evaluation model.The reference model redesigned and pre-experimented the previous practical course to revise the evaluation model,iterate the practical course,and get the final result.Finally,small-scale subjects were organized to conduct two courses of practice,and quantitative evaluation and analysis were carried out through the evaluation model.The study found five first-level factors and nine second-level factors of "curiosity and observation","innovation and imagination","cooperation and win-win","speculation and method",and "aesthetic and perception",and assigned corresponding weights to them.The weight and the score of each factor can be used to calculate the overall score.The model can be used as a part of the comprehensive quality assessment of junior high school students,and the students’ quality in design art can be assessed through specific behaviors in the course.The evaluation results can be used as a basis for subsequent personalized training for students,and teachers and course designers can also use this as a reference for designing courses.Due to the epidemic,the practice activities cannot continue to be carried out on a large scale.It is hoped that further expansion research can be carried out in the future when conditions permit,and the evaluation model can be enriched and iteratively applied in practice and applied to more fields. |
