Since the reform and opening up,China’s urbanization has progressed rapidly,and at the same time,the household contract responsibility system has greatly liberated agricultural productivity and released a large number of surplus rural labor.With the opening of the job market and the loosening of social management,the division of the urban-rural dual structure has gradually been broken,making a large number of surplus rural laborers go out to work.In recent years,all walks of life have paid great attention to the urban integration of foreign migrant workers,and migrant workers,as the main force of floating population,are also integrating better and better in the city.However,at the time when a large number of rural people flow to cities and towns,the situation in the countryside is also worrying,many migrant workers go to the city to work not for the purpose of returning to their hometowns,but for various factors,they move their families to urban development with the mentality of moving to the city and leaving the countryside,coupled with the gradual enhancement of the sense of urban belonging formed by the population flow brought about by urbanization,the sense of rural belonging is relatively weakened,as a result,rural development is slow,the permanent population in rural areas is declining year by year,the sense of rural belonging is weakened,a vicious circle is formed,and the development of rural areas is very easy to fall into the mud.This study mainly uses quantitative research methods.In three villages in L County,Shanxi Province,a questionnaire survey was conducted on rural people who went out to work,and the 300 valid questionnaires obtained were encoded and counted.The research in this paper is also based on a quantitative analysis of the 300 questionnaires obtained.This paper firstly introduces the research background,research purpose and significance of migrant workers’ sense of belonging in the countryside,sorts out domestic and foreign literature on belonging,explains the research methods,research ideas and research contents,and clarifies the relationship between migrant workers and rural sense of belonging.Definition,with social mobility,social interaction theory and group identity theory as the theoretical basis,to determine the analytical framework of the research;then from the perspectives of community identity and group identity,it is divided into rural yearning status,participation in activities,rural satisfaction,interpersonal The five aspects of interaction status and genealogy are analyzed on the status quo of migrant workers’ sense of belonging in the countryside,and a comprehensive understanding of the status quo of migrant workers’ sense of belonging in rural areas under the background of a mobile society is found.Obviously;the factors that appear in this problem are analyzed from both objective and subjective aspects,and the influencing factors of the weakening of rural sense of belonging of migrant workers who go out include three objective factors,including imperfect infrastructure,excessive livelihood pressure,and low public participation.The subjective factors of the fetters of relatives and friends and personal yearning,and put forward practical and feasible suggestions from the two aspects of accelerating infrastructure construction and strengthening emotional maintenance;finally,the survey research is summarized from the three aspects of representativeness,universality and survey objects.The deficiencies in this paper are discussed and the follow-up in-depth research is prospected.The study aims to make targeted suggestions for improving the rural belonging of migrant workers through the current situation of the rural belonging of the migrant workers in L County and the analysis of the factors affecting the low sense of rural belonging of the migrant workers,so as to strengthen the rural belonging of the migrant workers and contribute to the rural development and construction and the rural revitalization strategy.
