Language is the carrier of thinking,and writing is the core of thinking.Thinking is intangible composition,composition is tangible thinking.In writing,the selection of materials,the arrangement of hierarchical structures,and the organization of language are all related to thinking.The order in which the composition is written,what to write first,what to write later,how to start,and how to end are all reflections of logical thinking in writing activities.There are more or less logical problems in the composition of junior high school students no matter in the writing process of reviewing questions,selecting materials,planning the layout,choosing words and making sentences.Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate the logical thinking ability of junior high school students.At the same time,this is also determined by the curriculum standards and the characteristics of students’ thinking development.The cultivation of logical thinking ability in writing teaching helps students to improve their writing literacy and Chinese core literacy.First of all,this paper organizes and analyzes the relevant literature on the cultivation of logical thinking in junior high school writing teaching,and finds out the advantages and disadvantages of the original literature.And according to the stipulations of the curriculum standard and the thinking development characteristics of junior high school students,it defines the logical thinking ability that should be cultivated in junior high school writing.Questionnaire survey was conducted on the students of the author’s middle school,and samples of students’ works were selected to analyze the problems of logical thinking in students’ writing.Conduct interviews with teachers to understand teachers’ problems in the cultivation of logical thinking ability in teaching.Secondly,in view of the problems of logical thinking in students’ writing,the following points are summarized: lack of logical knowledge and low interest in learning;the composition basically conforms to the meaning of the question,the center is basically clear,but there is no depth;the material selection is basically around the center,but not typical;The level is unclear and the structure is cluttered;individual words and sentences are unclear and illogical;only focus on writing,not on reforming.There are the following problems in teachers’ teaching: relatively lack of logical knowledge;no specific logical guidance in the writing process;no logical evaluation of the composition;in the teaching of logical knowledge,the method is relatively simpleThirdly,in response to the above problems,strategies are formulated from four aspects: First,enrich the basic knowledge of logical thinking for teachers and students.Teachers should improve their logical thinking literacy.Create a situation to stimulate students’ interest in learning.Discover textbook resources and provide learning examples.The second is the writing link to cultivate students’ logical thinking ability.Use the conceptual analysis method to examine the idea of the question.Comprehensive use of logical thinking methods to select materials.Use the logical structure diagram to rationalize the ideas and clarify the structure.Skillfully use transition techniques to enhance the logic of the statement.The third is to cultivate logical thinking ability from the teaching method.A logical thinking training sequence can be constructed.Use fragment exercises to train logical knowledge.Carry out the combination of speaking and writing,and develop the habit of logical thinking.The fourth is to cultivate logical thinking ability from the evaluation of writing teaching.Cultivate logical thinking from the perspective of evaluation and the subject of evaluation.Finally,suggestions are made from the teacher’s side and the student’s side respectively.Teachers can conduct sequential research or special education on the cultivation of logical thinking ability in three years of junior high school.Students should increase their reading accumulation and actively participate in the group.
