| In recent years,the idea of students’ all-round development has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,and people pay more and more attention to the teaching of primary school science courses.A course cannot achieve high-quality teaching without a professional team of teachers.Therefore,this study has launched a research on the professional development of primary school science teachers.Based on the two-factor theory,this survey adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview to investigate the team status,professional ability,research and training of primary school science teachers in J District of Chengdu,and professional friendship and other aspects.According to the investigation,we find that there are the following problems in the professional development of primary school science teachers in District J: incomplete professional development guarantee mechanism,inappropriate professional development content,low professional identity and job satisfaction,difficulty in promotion of professional title and imperfect science teaching facilities.Combined with the health factors and incentive factors in the two-factor theory,this study conducted an attribution analysis on the formation of the professional development problems of primary school science teachers in J District.The reasons are as follows: 1.The education department of District J does not pay enough attention to the professional development of primary school science teachers;2.2.The professional development fund for science teachers in District J is not enough;3.Lack of good working environment for science teachers in District J;4.The education department of District J is insufficient in guiding the professional development planning of primary school science teachers;5.Unreasonable performance appraisal system;6.The post-service training system is not perfect.This paper puts forward a series of feasible countermeasures to improve the professional development level of primary school science teachers in J District from the aspects of health factors and motivating factors.In terms of guarantee factors,the government and educational administrative departments should help schools to improve the hardware facilities of science teaching and allocate resources in a balanced and reasonable way.Optimize the structure of teachers and create a good development environment for teachers.In terms of motivating factors,educational administrative departments should reasonably guide primary school science teachers to conduct self-professional development;Help primary school science teachers build a platform for self-development;Improve the performance appraisal system and improve the post-service training system. |
