With the rapid development of information society,the times put forward higher requirements for people’s information ability,and education reform also began to pay attention to the cultivation of information ability.In 2017,the State Council clearly proposed to develop students’ information literacy in the 13 th five year plan for national education.The biology curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020)points out that we should pay attention to the educational reform in the information environment and let students experience the process of obtaining information in biology curriculum learning,which shows that the cultivation of information ability is very important in biology curriculum teaching.With the progress of education and the innovation of education reform,a large number of excellent teaching methods have emerged.Among them,the task driven teaching method based on constructivism theory shows its irreplaceable advantages.Task driven teaching method allows students to learn knowledge in the process of completing tasks.It is hoped that they can use tasks to encourage students in the learning process.When learning knowledge,students can enjoy it,give full play to students’ subjectivity,and turn students’ recent development zone into reality.This study takes the information materials as the "support" for students to complete the task in the teaching design,hides the contents that can help students complete the task in the information materials,guides students to extract,summarize,apply and evaluate information,and enables students to improve their information ability in the process of completing the task and acquiring knowledge.At the same time,this study explores the relevant contents of information ability contained in the new teaching materials and core elements,which makes the cultivation of information ability further promote the implementation of core literacy.By consulting domestic and foreign literature,this study defines the concept and research status of "information literacy" and "information ability",and defines the development status of "task driven Teaching".In this study,a questionnaire was issued to investigate the current situation of information ability of middle school students in Shihezi,and the current level of information ability of middle school students in Shihezi was obtained by comparing and analyzing the relevant data.At the same time,this study also arranged the classroom performance evaluation,using the evaluation results to statistically analyze the performance of students’ information ability in biology classroom;Interview biology teachers in school to further understand the development of task driven teaching and the current situation of the cultivation of information ability.Based on the new textbooks and new biology curriculum standards,this study takes the lead in exploring the task driven teaching design,explores information resources,highlights the characteristics of information ability training,and enriches the teaching cases under the background of the new teaching concept.After completing the teaching practice,further compare and analyze the students’ performance evaluation and academic performance before and after the practice,and draw the corresponding conclusions.The results of this study show that the use of task driven teaching method and the teaching practice of introducing rich information resources improve students’ information ability.In this study,the students in the experimental class adopt the task driven teaching mode,and the students in the control class adopt the traditional teaching mode.After the practice,the students in the experimental class perform better in the classroom information ability,while the students in the control class fluctuate slightly in the performance of the information ability.In terms of test scores,the scores of students in the experimental class have improved slightly,and there is little difference between the beginning and end of task driven teaching practice in the control class.Due to the limited conditions in all aspects,the conclusions of this study need to be further improved,and the conclusions of long-term practice need to be further verified.I hope this study can provide some reference in task driven teaching and the cultivation of students’ information ability.
