Research On The Impact Of Internet Corporate Social Responsibility On Innovation Performance

The 19 th CPC National Congress points out that the economy of China has already turned to a highquality stage,of which foundation and vitality depend on the high-quality development of enterprises.This not only rely on the high-quality development of hard power in the innovative aspect of enterprise,but also on the high-quality development of soft power in the aspects as the corporate social responsibility.Currently,the innovation vitality of Internet enterprises in China is constantly bursting,and the fruits of innovation are emerging gradually.Big Data,Cloud Computing,5G and other technological innovations now become an important driving force for the transformation of social economic system,since each of these made their own field developed rapidly,and further strongly support the integrations and developments of other industries through the “Internet plus”.However,at the same time,the social responsibility problems of Internet enterprises such as Big Data ripening,user information leakage and monopolizing the industry market have occurred frequently,which has been a disharmonious factor affecting the high-quality development of China to a new stage.The rule of Enterprising development all over the world shows that,firstly,the more rapidly developed and innovative industries they are,the more social responsibilities they need to bear.Secondly,corporate social responsibility can regulate the innovation activities of enterprises and shifts the innovative objectives to the welfare of the whole society,rather than just for their own selfinterest.Thirdly,the relationship between social responsibility and innovation performance is a dialectical relationship of unity of opposites and complementarity,and the two are not developed isolatedly.Therefore,in such a great historical process of entering a new stage,implementing new ideas and building a new pattern,it is necessary for the Internet enterprises of China to integrate the realization of innovative development and the performance of social responsibility into the high-quality development of enterprises,clarify the relationship between them and find the balance point of their coordinated development.This Dissertation aims to explore the impact of Internet corporate social responsibility on innovation performance in China.Firstly,on the basis of sources background and stakeholder theory,a comprehensive evaluation system of Internet corporate social responsibility thus constructed,which takes Internet corporate social responsibility as the primary index,then internal and external stakeholder responsibility and other responsibilities are set as the secondary index,shareholders,employees,creditors,government,consumers,suppliers and fair competition responsibility are afterwards regarded as the tertiary index;Secondly,number of patents are taken as the output performances of enterprise technological innovation,by selecting age of enterprise as the control variable,I collect data from 284 samples of 71 domestic Internet listed companies from 2017 to 2020,and use stata14.0 statistical software to analyze the relationship between Internet corporate social responsibility and innovation performance;Then,in order to measure the impact of external environmental differences on the relationship between the two more deep,an Internet enterprise comprehensive innovation performance evaluation system is constructed,which takes the comprehensive innovation performance of Internet enterprises as the primary index,besides the R&D investment and output of enterprises as the secondary index,and the R&D investment personnel,and R&D investment amount and the number of patents obtained as the tertiary index.Taking the arithmetic average value of corporate comprehensive social responsibility and comprehensive innovation performances in each region as the score of local corporate social responsibility level and innovation performance rank,and evaluating the degree of coordinated development between them with the help of coupling coordination degree method,so as to reflect the role of external condition between them.The results show that: If Internet enterprises actively fulfill their own responsibilities for shareholders,government and fair competition,they then can have a positive impact also on innovation performance;Enterprise R&D investment plays an intermediary role between government responsibility and innovation performance.Government innovation incentive policies and innovation subsidies are important reasons for enterprises to actively carry out innovation activities;There are differences in the coordinated development degree of corporate social responsibility system and innovation performance system in different regions.Among the five regions of Guangdong,Beijing,Shanghai,Zhejiang and Jiangsu,the coordinated development degree of Jiangsu is at a high level,that of Beijing and Guangdong is a little lower,and that of Shanghai and Zhejiang is at a medium level.Based on the research conclusions,this Dissertation puts forward targeted suggestions.
