| Under the background of the new era,the professional and professional work of social workers has been supported and affirmed by the state,and China has a relatively large contingent of social workers.Social workers play a fundamental role in dealing with social problems,alleviating social conflicts and promoting social harmony.At present,China has more than 600,000 certified social workers,but the number of social work graduates and social work institutions is increasing,while the turnover rate of social workers is far beyond the warning line of 20% in the industry.Mobility itself is not a problem,but the high turnover rate and turnover rate bring great challenges to the professionalization and professional development of social workers.Therefore,career mobility of social workers has become the focus of academic attention.Based on the perspective of "work-family" relationship and rational choice theory,this study studied the phenomenon of occupational mobility of social workers with 20 social workers from 2 social work institutions in W city as the investigation objects.The research is mainly carried out from three aspects:first,it summarizes the types of "work-family" relationship among social workers,and summarizes the types of family influence on occupational mobility;The second part analyzes the influence of different "work-family" relationship on social workers’ career mobility,mainly from three types of mobility:industry,region and position.Third,explore the industry problems behind the occupational mobility of social workers,and put forward relevant suggestions accordingly.Based on the above analysis,the research finds:First,social workers’ "work-family" relationship mainly presents three types,namely gain,conflict and balance.The social work industry is dominated by the relationship type of work-family conflict.Second,among the social workers who leave the social work industry,the motivation of career change changes with the change of family life cycle,and the main destination of demission is the administrative system,study and return to the family.Third,for mobile social workers in the industry,firstly,the reasons for sticking to social workers mainly include the limited choice of local social workers,women’s desire to work and earn money,and the promotion of external factors in the industry.Secondly,family instrumental gain,emotional gain and work-family two-way spillover are helpful to career promotion of social workers.Finally,due to the "high demand" of family roles,horizontal geographical mobility is also an option for social workers.Fourth,the constant job turnover also reflects some problems in the social work industry.From the perspective of work stressors,social workers are unable to make reasonable self-adjustment and will eventually develop into "marginal people" in the social situation.In addition,social work services have a lot of funding,project and personnel problems.In view of the above problems,this paper finally puts forward corresponding suggestions: The government can provide policy support to promote the development of pension and domestic service industry and improve the employment environment of social workers;At the social work industry level,formulate family-friendly policies to lower social expectations and raise the threshold of entry;At the personal level,make good family communication and career development plan. |
