Research On The Practical Logic Of Medical Social Work Embedded In Public Hospitals

Under the impetus of the establishment of a system of social protection and health care,medico-social work is introduced into hospitals as a product.Inside the hospital,there is a management decision level which masters the resources and a clinical department which firmly masters the authority according to the medical technology.However,in empirical practice,the work of the medical society can be gradually "invested" in hospitals.How is the work of the medical society integrated into the hospital? What is the integrated action logic? What are the dilemmas of the integrated practice process?This study takes Hubei Province X Hospital as the object of research,uses the case study method,uses the point of view of embedded theory to carry out the analysis,embedded professional social work must consider related object topics.Based on the development and practice of the hospital,in order to realize the "discharge" of social work in the hospital field,it is necessary to deal with the communication between the decision-making level of the hospital,the Clinical Department and the service object.From these three relationships,the author finds that there are a series of practical theories behind the integration of medical social work,which are gradually integrated into the original hospital system according to the system integration,relationship integration and service integration.In the integrated action of the system,the hospital,under the guidance of the policy,has obtained the participation qualification and the development space by encouraging the important people to build the work system and the system of the medical society.In the integrated action of the relationship,medical social work is integrated into the communication relationship network with the Clinical Department,in the process of building the relationship of cooperation,both sides recognize that it tends to formal trust;As part of the service integration initiative,the Department of Medical Social Workers is gradually exploring the content of services that are suitable for clients.However,the work of the medical society has also encountered difficulties in integrated action at three levels.The action of integrating the system appears as the dilemma of the instrumentalization of the hospital examination and the obtaining of external financial advantages.In the relevant integration action,the system integration action appears as the dilemma of the vagueness of the "Division" of the medical specialty and the "Integration" of the specialty.The service integration action appeared as a professional dilemma of low professional recognition and insufficient professional level.In order to promote the realization of the "Deep Integration" of medical and social activities,this document offers suggestions for the return to the professional orientation of the system,the integration of developmental relations and the emphasis on specialty services.I hope that this study can serve as a reference for the integration of medical and social work in public hospitals.
