With the advancement of popular education and the implementation of the policy of expanding enrollment in colleges and universities,the number of postgraduate graduates has increased sharply.And in recent years,my country’s talent demand structure has undergone tremendous changes.The job market has been in a state of oversupply for a long time,there has been a large surplus of talents,and the competition in the graduate job market has become increasingly fierce.The employment pressure of postgraduates continues to increase,and the problem of employment difficulty is becoming more and more prominent,which also makes them bear heavy psychological pressure,which in turn produces different degrees of employment anxiety.Excessive anxiety can cause individual mental or physical diseases,affect the normal development of individuals,and then lead to various personal and social problems.Therefore,the research and intervention on the employment anxiety of postgraduates has become very urgent.The purpose of this study is to explore the current employment anxiety of postgraduates,and to implement the intervention of group work as an intervention method to explore a practical model for relieving postgraduates’ employment anxiety.First,collect primary data through questionnaires and interviews,test the anxiety state and cognition of postgraduates,and further explore the internal causes of employment anxiety of postgraduates.Secondly,combined with the internal needs of 10 team members and the causes of employment anxiety,the activity plan was designed,guided by the theory of advantage perspective,cognitive behavior theory and social support theory,and carried out seven group activities by using the practical methods and work skills of group work.At the same time,a variety of evaluation methods were used to test the effectiveness of the service,which affirmed that the intervention of group work has a positive effect on reducing the employment anxiety of postgraduates,and the intervention of group work has practical significance.Through the intervention of the group,the self-positioning of the team members has been clarified,their employment cognition has been improved,they have mastered the methods to relieve anxiety,their interview experience has been increased,their employment confidence has been improved,and their employability has been improved.Thus,it can promote the mental health and good employment mentality of postgraduate students,and achieve the purpose of effectively alleviating employment anxiety.At the same time,it is also the key to promote the all-round development of postgraduate students and the realization of personal value.At the end of the paper,it reflects on the process of group activities and the group workers themselves,and puts forward several suggestions: inject more energy into the preparation stage of group activities,comprehensively use various social work methods to take into account the individual needs of group members,and give full play to group workers as appeals,establish a long-term mechanism for group development,and pay more attention to and invest in group work and employment anxiety of postgraduates,to improve the effectiveness of group work in relieving graduate students’ employment anxiety,and provide practical experience and improvement direction for future research and intervention.
