With the substantial growth of consumer demand for leisure and entertainment,the domestic tourism industry,especially the hotel industry,continues to show a clear and upward trend.As of the end of 2020,the number of hotel rooms has reached 15.326 million,and the operating income of Jinjiang,BTG,Huazhu and other chain hotels has increased by more than 15% year-on-year.In order to continuously improve the experience of guests and meet their needs for health,safety and individuation,the hotel industry urgently needs the supply of high-quality talents with solid professional foundation and practical experience.Therefore,the practical teaching of Hospitality Management major in major domestic higher vocational colleges is increasingly systematic and characteristic development,and high standards and high-quality requirements are put forward for students in terms of practical operation,communication skills,and emergency management.At the same time,a scientific and perfect practical teaching evaluation system has also become the focus of educational theoretical research and practical exploration.In order to enrich the research on the evaluation of Hospitality Management professional practice teaching quality,this paper choose Qingdao Vocational and Technical College of Hotel Management for example and and introduces the CIPP model into Hospitality Management professional education quality evaluation.Through combing and summarizing the current situation of Hospitality Management professional practice teaching evaluation under the background of the new era,based on the connotation of Hospitality Management and the CIPP model,this paper establishes the three principles of "classroom-practice","process-result" and "subjective-objective",and apply analytic hierarchy process try to construct an index system of Hospitality Management professional practice teaching evaluation from the four aspects of Background,Input,Process and Results,and assign relevant index weights,in order to improve the effectiveness of each link of practice teaching.In order to ensure the validity and applicability of the evaluation system based on the CIPP model,this paper conducts practical teaching quality evaluation activities through the method of questionnaire survey,and collects the effective questionnaires of 265 teachers and students as samples.And then using SPSS 22.0,AMOS 21.0 and other statistical software for reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and regression analysis,diagnosing relevant problems.It is identified that a few courses in the current practice teaching of this major are not very practical.And there is insufficient investment in practical training,training facilities and consumables are limited,and the authenticity of the training base is limited.During the internship,it is difficult to adjust the position,the student experience is limited,and the internship willingness is not strong.This paper mainly proposes the following strategies to optimize the practical teaching quality and talent training mode of the Hospitality Management major: considering the actual needs of the major,optimize the practical curriculum;increase the investment in training base,improve the strength of practice teachers;use information technology to simulate the actual operation and operation;strengthen school-enterprise communication,improve students’ internship experience,etc.
