Research On The Role Of Medical Social Workers From The Perspective Of Social Interaction

With economic development and continuous transformation,it brings opportunities and challenges to our social development.In the process of social work development,the emergence of medical social work,on the one hand,makes up for the gap between rapid economic development and medical level,on the other hand,it also provides immediate help for more patients in need and their families,so as to achieve better treatment effect.Both the internal medical social workers themselves and the parties who interact with medical social workers in the external environment have certain role expectations for medical social workers,but the expected role of medical social workers and the role they play in the actual work process will always have some gaps in the process of interaction,which can not meet the requirements of all roles at the same time.In this process,medical social workers may not be able to play the corresponding role because of personal or environmental impact.In this paper,the author expounds the research on the role of medical social workers from the following aspects,The first is the role expectation of medical social workers,which is divided into external and internal.The external is mainly the role expectation of the buyer or sponsor for medical social workers,because they provide financial support for medical social work.Then there is the expectation of the medical staff,patients and their families for the role of medical social workers,because they are the recipients of medical social work services,and the work of medical social workers needs to meet their expectations.The internal expectation includes the expectation of medical social workers for their professional ability and professional ability,which directly affects whether medical social workers can play a corresponding role in their work.The second is the role practice of medical social workers in their work,which is divided into direct work and indirect work process,corresponding to internal expectations and external expectations.The roles played in the direct work process are usually able to directly act on the assisted group through work.The roles played in the indirect work process usually refer to some tasks that medical social workers need to complete besides their own work,such as administrative work The influence of policy and the development of medical social work theory and practice can not be observed directly,and there is a certain amount of accumulation process.Through the research of this section,and finally through the analysis of the causes and specific manifestations of the role gap,we can more clearly understand why the actual role practice deviates from the role expectation.Finally,put forward relevant opinions and suggestions on the construction of the role of medical social workers,improve the relevant policies of medical social work,optimize the training content of local medical social work,improve the social resource network,strengthen the cooperation with medical staff,cultivate more professional supervision team and improve the quality of medical social workers.
