Research On The Present Situation Of Social Capital Of Non-governmental Social Work Organizations In China And Its Improvement Countermeasures

In recent years,with the deepening of the practice of the transformation of China social governance model,private social work institutions,as the main participants in social governance,under the influence of relevant policies of the Party Central Committee and the government,have shown a trend of sustained development.Although the number of institutions showed a pattern of growth,they face the “High number,low level” and other development problems.As an important participant in social governance,how to improve the quality and promote the healthy and orderly development of non-governmental social work institutions has become an urgent problem.Some researches show that social capital is the basis of solving organizational problems,which provides a new direction for the development of non-governmental social work organizations.However,as far as the present stage is concerned,the current research on non-governmental social work organizations is mainly qualitative,and there are few quantitative empirical studies.Quantitative indicators and normative scale are the basis of quantitative research,but these studies in non-governmental social work organizations are obviously abnormally lacking,and for some of the basic issues involved in the research.For example,what are the connotation elements of social capital in non-governmental social work organizations?What is the social capital of privately-run social work institutions?What are the factors affecting the social capital accumulation of non-governmental social work institutions?How to make use of the social capital of non-governmental social work institutions to improve the quality and promote the development of non-governmental social work institutions?Wait a minute.There’s no consensus.This paper hopes to further enrich and improve the social capital research of private social work institutions and enrich the accumulation of academic research materials on social capital theory through the investigation and study of social capital of private social work institutions,and respond to these questions.Based on the theory of social capital,this paper explains the explanatory power of social capital theory to private social work institutions,and determines the measurement dimension of social capital of private social work institutions,studying the existing mature social capital measurement scale,combining the context reality,making the social capital scale of private social work organization,consulting the experts and scholars of the industry to revise and perfect the scale,making the preliminary questionnaire,the staff of private social work organizations are invited to fill in the questionnaire and complete the pre-survey.After the pre-survey,combined with the sample data,through the SPSS software and other statistical analysis software,the sample data pre-analysis to determine the formal questionnaire.Secondly,private social work institutions in g city which have obtained the evaluation grades of 5A,4A,3A and 2A of social organizations are taken as survey objects,and managers of institutions with middle-level or above management level are invited as survey objects,through the electronic qionnaire and other means to release the qionnaire,access to first-hand data.The collected qionnaires were arranged,the sample data were tested by SPSS software,and the sample data were analyzed by Amos software to obtain the social capital final scale of non-governmental social work organizations,the results show that the total stock is relatively rich,the internal and external stock is basically the same,the internal relationship is the richest,and the internal network is the weakest.In order to further understand the influencing factors of social capital in private social work organizations,in this paper,four independent variables are used as independent variables,which are the evaluation of social organization level,the time of establishment,the number of full-time staff,and the educational level of most members of the organization,taking social capital of each dimension of Private Social Work Organization as dependent variable,correlation analysis and regression analysis are made on the data.The results are as follows:The star rank of the organization is positively correlated not only with the whole but also with most dimensions;Age was not correlated with all variables;the number of full-time employees was positively correlated with the overall and most dimensions;and the educational level of members was not significantly correlated with social capital.According to the research data,it is found that the internal and external languages of private social workers’ organizations are not closely related to the stock of social capital,the internal network of private social workers’ organizations operates at a“Low intensity”,private social workers’ organizations are highly dependent on government organizations,members of the organizations comply with norms,and they help each other mutually,the benefits of external communication are limited,and the shared vision of the organisation,both internal and external,is well established.The assessment of the level of consensus is conducive to a virtuous circle in the organisation’s social capital accumulation,the stability of its dedicated staff and the effectiveness of its focus in achieving a shared vision.Based on the research results and findings,this paper puts forward six suggestions on the development of non-governmental social work institutions from the perspective of social capital theory,including cultivating social work talents,helping the use of common language without hindrance,and combining“Network supplement” with“Network deployment”,to strengthen the structure of social capital,to strengthen the relationship between social capital,to further strengthen the common vision,to deepen the cognitive dimension of social capital,it is urgent to promote“Evaluation for construction”,to promote the development of institutions to improve quality and efficiency,implement full-time,special personnel,special post,enhance the efficiency of achieving the goal.Finally,the research limitations and prospects are put forward.
