Since the 1980 s,discipline construction has played a key role in promoting the cause of higher education in my country.After years of practice and development,discipline construction has been proven to be an effective way of university construction.In this process,some famous university presidents in my country have accumulated rich experience in discipline construction,and formed a systematic discipline construction thought that will play an important role in guiding the future development of higher education in China.Their ideology of discipline construction is the core of their educational ideology,and also an important part of the ideological map of discipline construction in Chinese universities.This study attempts to summarize and extract the historical picture and changes of the Chinese university discipline construction thought from the perspective of history.This research takes the representative university presidents from 1980 to 2020 as the carrier,uses the literature research method and historical research method,and further masters and understands the literature materials published by the university presidents on the construction of disciplines,and then divides it into three periods.This paper summarizes the university president’s disciplinary construction thought embodied in it,and finally tries to summarize the historical context and stage characteristics of our country’s university disciplinary construction thought in the past 40 years of reform and opening up.This study is divided into four parts.Firstly,starting from the definition of core concepts such as the idea of discipline construction and group portraits of university presidents,it systematically reviews the modes,theories,policies,paths,ideas,etc.of discipline construction,as well as the related educational thought research of university presidents.The construction idea lays the theoretical foundation.Secondly,through the collection,arrangement and analysis of a large number of relevant documents and materials,the first period is divided into 1980-1994.The idea of discipline construction in this period is expressed as breaking the old and establishing the new and letting a hundred flowers bloom.The overall concept of discipline construction is expressed as vigorously promoting the discipline.Comprehensive,the basic policy is to focus on efficiency-oriented construction,the basic path is to promote the transformation and upgrading of disciplines,and the key task is to build a team to cultivate talents;the second period is divided into 1995-2014,and its ideological performance is focused on construction and gradual formation,the study found that the overall concept of discipline construction is structural theory and functional theory,the basic model is the key construction under institutionalization,the basic path is knowledge reorganization and organizational innovation,and the key task is to establish a large platform and a large team;the third period is 2015-In2020,the ideological performance of discipline construction is the pursuit of excellence and the survival of the fittest.The overall concept of discipline construction in this period is the transformation from extension to connotation,the basic model is the key construction under the guidance of first-class,and the basic path is large-scale merger.Reorganization,the key task is to vigorously promote the innovation strategy.The three stages correspond to the second,third,and fourth chapters of the article,respectively.Finally,on the basis of reviewing and summarizing the ideas of university presidents’ discipline construction in the three periods,it shows the overall picture of my country’s university discipline construction ideas in the past 40 years.System thinking is the main methodology in the ideology of university discipline construction in our country,promoting development through reform is the basic thread of our country’s university discipline construction ideology,and key construction ideology is the concentrated expression of our university discipline construction ideology. |
