Exploratory Study Of Emergency Social Work Intervention In Cultivating Community Emergency Volunteer Organizations

In the era of globalization,emergencies have emerged,showing increasingly complex and diversified characteristics.In the face of major emergencies,relying only on a single government force to respond to emergencies is ineffective,and requires the mobilization and integration of public resources and social forces,including a large group of volunteers.While implementing life-saving efforts,emergency work should also focus on the impact of emergencies on the post-disaster quality of life of affected people,enhance their ability to heal themselves,and quickly restore their physical and mental balance.Based on the perspective of emergency social work,the purpose of this paper is to cultivate community volunteer organizations with emergency response capabilities,with the aim of solidifying the results of organizational cultivation in the form of community emergency volunteer organizations,enhancing the emergency psychological rescue and self-healing capabilities of community emergency volunteers in emergency emergencies,further improving the rescue efficiency before the arrival of professional rescue teams,and reducing the generation of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).Therefore,this paper develops the following two research components.Study one explores the advantages of emergency social work intervention in community emergency volunteer organizations.The literature research method was used to sort out the work content of emergency social work in past practice,explore the role,professional capacity,and talent cultivation methods of emergency social work in participating in emergency rescue of emergencies,construct the work process of emergency social work in cultivating community emergency voluntary organizations,and provide guidance for emergency social work in cultivating community emergency voluntary organizations.Research results: the advantages of emergency social work include,1.professional value.It can help people in difficult situations to activate the motivation of self-rescue,bring into play the motivation of self-rescue,and promote people to continue to face life with a sense of hope.2.Professional knowledge structure.Emergency social work has a complex disciplinary background of social work,emergency management and psychology.It has the professionalism and vision of general social work,as well as the resourcefulness and foresight of emergency management,and the acumen and awareness of psychology.3.Professional ability.Able to work in all stages of crisis prevention,crisis intervention,psychological first aid,and grief counseling,conduct efficient resource integration,and carry out rescue work in collaboration with other emergency workers.Meanwhile,carry out daily work such as emergency culture education and crisis hotline.Study 2,explores the practical process of emergency social work intervention in the cultivation of community emergency volunteer organizations.Using questionnaire survey method,interview method,participatory observation method,and under the guidance of 4R crisis management theory and empowerment theory,the cultivation path of community emergency volunteer organizations was explored under the perspective of emergency social work.Research results: 1.The "4+6" cultivation path of community emergency volunteer organizations was formed,with four stages,namely,preparation stage,design stage,implementation stage,and evaluation stage;six steps,including demand collection;analysis of existing community resources,organic integration of resources;development of cultivation plan;institutional construction;mechanism construction;and summary evaluation.2.the cultivation of emergency social work,the pre-and post-test results of community emergency volunteers’ emergency knowledge and skills mastery training changed significantly,and the professionalism of community emergency volunteer organization members was improved.3.The community emergency volunteer organization formed a system structure and a long-term operation mechanism,and community P successfully cultivated a community emergency volunteer organization that could maintain the daily work of the organization and assist the community to complete part of the emergency work.Research conclusions.First,emergency social work has the advantages of professionalism in three aspects:professional value,professional knowledge structure,and professional ability.Emergency social work can integrate community and social resources from the perspective of social work;it can develop cultivation programs based on the perspective of emergency management and cultivate emergency voluntary organizations from the perspective of four stages of risk management;and it can provide professional support from the perspective of psychology.Second,the "4+6" cultivation path can effectively cultivate community emergency volunteer organizations.The "4+6" cultivation path of cultivating community emergency volunteer organizations,which is guided by the professional advantages of emergency social work,can cultivate community emergency volunteer organizations in a systematic and organized manner.Thirdly,the cultivation of community emergency volunteer organizations can be operated sustainably.The system and mechanism of community emergency volunteer organizations can be improved to enhance team cohesion and form a long-term mechanism of organization operation,which can maintain the daily work of the organization and assist the community to complete part of the emergency work,thus better carry out community emergency volunteer services and contribute to the regular work management of community emergency volunteer organizations.Fourth,the emergency volunteers’ personal emergency response ability is improved.After the training of emergency social workers,the emergency volunteers’ emergency knowledge and skills have changed significantly,and the members of the community emergency volunteer organizations have improved their professionalism and are able to perform simple emergency rescue and disposal operations.
