In primary school,exercise teaching is a key link to improve students’ language expression ability and comprehensive quality.If you want to have a good exercise class,it is very important to make full preparation for the lesson,and elaborate teaching design is the foundation of lesson preparation.Therefore,this paper focuses on the teaching design of exercises for middle and high school students,and introduces the imaginary situation to carry out the research and writing of this paper.The thesis consists of five parts.The introduction part describes the research background,research purpose and significance,research content and methods of the paper,summarizes the literature related to the topic,analyzes the existing research status and defines the relevant concepts.The content of the first chapter of the paper is in the process of practice,through questionnaire survey and classroom observation and other methods,to understand the current situation of middle and high school exercises teaching,analysis of the reasons for the existing problems,to provide direction for teaching design.The second chapter analyzes the function of the imaginary situation,summarizes the meaning of the imaginary situation for the teaching of middle and high level exercises in primary schools and the internal and external supporting conditions of the imaginary situation,which provides the basis for the teaching design of middle and high level exercises in primary schools based on the imaginary situation.The third chapter discusses the principles of teaching design in combination with the practical problems existing in practice teaching and the supporting conditions of imaginary situation,and summarizes the four basic principles of teaching design based on imaginary situation for middle and high school students: the principle of free learning,the principle of respecting childlike innocence,the principle of thinking training and the principle of inspiring thinking.In the fourth chapter,according to the teaching principle,the author sets up five operation steps of the teaching design of middle and high school exercises based on imagination situation: awakening imagination,releasing imagination,output imagination,enriching imagination and optimizing imagination.And according to these five steps,take the second volume of grade four,Unit eight "New Stories" and the first volume of grade five,unit four "Home after 20 years" as an example,based on the imaginary situation,make a teaching design example.
