Nowadays,more and more young people have joined the ranks of high school teachers and become an important group that can not be ignored to promote the development of schools.The professional development level of young high school teachers is directly related to the quality of high school education,and also plays a very key role in the development of high school education in the future.A comprehensive understanding of the current situation of young teachers’ professional development in China,mastering the existing problems in the process of senior high school young teachers’ professional development,and then putting forward the promotion countermeasures to improve senior high school young teachers’ professional development is of great significance to help them break through the bottleneck of professional development and move towards further development.Based on the lifelong learning theory,Maslow’s needs theory and the stage theory of teachers’ professional development,this study deeply analyzes the current situation of the professional development of young teachers in Jinan high schools in Shandong Province by using the methods of questionnaire and structural interview,Through the analysis of the results of questionnaire survey and interview x,this paper obtains the problems faced by the young high school teachers in Jinan,Shandong Province in the process of professional development and the underlying reasons.Specifically,the professional development of young high school teachers in Jinan City,Shandong Province mainly faces the following five problems: the low level of teachers’ professional knowledge,the lack of teachers’ educational research ability,the lack of teachers’ educational enthusiasm,the unclear goal of teachers’ professional development,and the single way of Teachers’ professional development.This study found that the problems in the process of professional development of young high school teachers in Jinan City,Shandong Province are mainly in three aspects:professional knowledge,professional ability and professional affection.For example,young teachers have a short teaching time,lack of teaching experience,lack of active and effective teaching reflection,differences in adaptability and learning ability of young teachers,imperfections in high school system,and heavy school teaching tasks,Lack of teaching research and scientific research,some teachers with non normal backgrounds in the school teachers,the government’s quality education policy has not been strictly implemented,the salary of young teachers in high school is low,and they lack professional well-being.Finally,based on the in-depth exploration of the problems and the reasons behind the professional development of young high school teachers in Jinan,Shandong Province,this study puts forward the promotion strategies for the professional development of young high school teachers,in order to provide some practical enlightenment for the professional development of young high school teachers and the talent training of high school education.Specifically,this study from the professional knowledge level-active learning,improve professional knowledge,standardize the teacher selection system,and ensure the quality of young teachers;At the level of professional ability-strengthen teaching reflection,strengthen the norms of professional ethics,broaden discipline training channels,and strengthen the training of young teachers;Professional sentiment-improve the incentive system for teachers,enhance the enthusiasm of young teachers’ education,strictly implement quality education,ease the working pressure of young teachers,increase the investment in education funds,and improve the treatment level of young teachers in senior high schools.
