Vigorously developing professional degree graduate education is an important way to serve the national major development strategy and deepen the reform of graduate education.The cultivation of master’s degree graduates is the strategic focus of professional degree graduate education in China.The Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education issued the development plan for professional degree graduate education(2020-2025),which clearly pointed out that it is necessary to explore the construction of a scientific and reasonable master’s degree graduate education system and strive to solve the problems of structure and training quality.Practical ability is an important index to measure the quality of postgraduate education,and the integration of industry and education is an important way to cultivate practical ability.Therefore,this study focuses on the impact of the integration of industry and education on the quality of master’s degree graduate education,and explores the intermediary effect of students’ practical interest,which has certain theoretical and practical significance for enriching the relevant research of professional degree graduate education in China and promoting the improvement of practical ability of master’s degree graduate students in China.This study takes five master of education training colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province as the research object,combines questionnaire survey method and interview method,carries out relevant research around the three dimensions of industry education integration,practical ability and practical interest,and uses research tools to carry out descriptive analysis,regression analysis,difference analysis and intermediary effect test on the collected data,The results show that the practical ability,practical interest and the implementation status of industry education integration of full-time Master of education in Jiangxi Province are at a medium level;All dimensions of production education integration have a positive impact on students’ practical ability;Whether there is a teacher qualification certificate or not has a significant impact on the practical ability of graduate students;Taking the practical interest as the intermediary variable,it is concluded that the practical interest has an intermediary impact on the practical ability under the production education integration training mode.Based on the analysis of interview data,it is found that there are some problems in the cultivation of full-time Master of education’s practical ability,such as the dual tutorial system needs to be implemented,the practice base needs to be improved,the cooperation between schools and enterprises needs to be deepened,the training system needs to be improved,the quality of students needs to be optimized and the practical interest needs to be improved.Try to analyze the causes of the problems from the government,society,universities and individuals.In order to comprehensively improve the practical ability of postgraduates with master’s degree,on the basis of learning from the excellent experience at home and abroad,we should give full play to the functions of the government and promote the participation of multiple subjects;Stimulate the vitality of the practice base and deeply integrate with colleges and universities;Improve the talent training system and build a diversified evaluation system;The system restricts the tutors outside the school and strengthens the cooperation between the tutors inside and outside the school;Enhance students’ professional recognition and improve students’ practical interest.
