| In Chinese teaching in primary school,reading teaching has always occupied a significant position,and the cultivation of students’ reading ability has always been an important task of reading teaching.In single reading teaching,the teacher’s explanation of a text focuses on the meaning of words,sentences and paragraphs and the understanding of the central idea,which is helpful for students to learn the basics of the Chinese language knowledge,but is not as effective as it could be in improving students’ reading skills in various aspects.The shift from ‘single’ to ‘multiple’ reading is more effective in increasing students’ reading capacity,guiding them to use reading strategies,and helping them to improve their reading skills by sorting out the similarities and differences between multiple texts.The introduction of learning task sheets can help teachers to use the similarities and differences of multiple texts as clues to help students adapt to this new form of reading.Therefore,the author has developed an action research model based on learning task sheets to investigate the effectiveness of the group reading teaching model in developing primary school students’ reading skills.This study uses the action research method as the main research method,and the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method as supplementary research methods.Firstly,through the combing of relevant literature,the research content was clarified,the research method was selected,and the theoretical basis for this study was found;secondly,through issuing questionnaires and conducting interviews with language teachers of primary school E in J city,the current situation was understood,problems were identified,and the teaching model was initially designed;secondly,the research subjects were selected,the implementation process was formulated,and the action process was reflected upon in time after each round of action research to adjust the subsequent research programme.After each round of action research,reflect on the action process and adjust the subsequent research programme.Finally,data analysis was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the model in improving students’ reading skills and to suggest actions for teachers who might wish to use the model for group reading.The three rounds of action research concluded that the primary school language group reading teaching model based on learning task sheets is applicable and feasible;it can improve students’ reading skills,with reading recognition,evaluation and application skills being particularly enhanced. |
