Primary school after-school service is to solve the problem of parents picking up their children,to meet the needs of parents for after-school care,to promote the comprehensive development of students,improve the school education ability for the purpose,to provide primary school students with rich content and various forms of services.Primary school is the field for the implementation of primary school after-school service.The government and education related departments,schools and teachers,parents and students are the participants in primary school after-school service,which is inseparable from the implementation of primary school after-school service.This paper analyzes the implementation status,existing problems,causes and improvement strategies of after-school services in the three primary schools of J,C and X in A city.The main contents are as follows:The first part is divided into introduction.Under the background of "double reduction" policy and basic education reform,after-school service in primary school has rich theoretical and practical significance.In the existing literature on primary school services,it is found that the development of primary school services in domestic primary schools is in the initial stage.We need to explore the development of domestic primary school services from theory and practice,learn from the excellent experience of foreign countries,and develop the after-school services in China according to local conditions.The second part is an overview of after-school services for primary school services are guaranteed by the government,with primary schools as the main body and the participation of all sectors of society.In order to effectively solve the problem of parents’ pickup and tutoring,students carry out rich and diverse after-school education activities when students do not leave school after school.After-school service in primary school is characterized by flexibility in time arrangement,clear participation principles,diversified participants and diversified curriculum content.At the same time,after-school service in primary school has the value of public service value,social welfare value and personal development value.The third part is the current survey on the implementation of after-school services in primary school.Based on the questionnaire survey method and interview method,supplemented by non-participatory observation method,it analyzes the implementation status of after-school services in three primary schools J,C and X from five aspects: understanding,demand,participation,satisfaction and effectiveness of after-school services in primary school.Through the analysis of the survey data,it is found that the after-school services have achieved both initial results and significant differences.Fourth is divided into elementary school service problems and problems,A city J,C,X three public primary school service after school subject understanding deviation,supply and demand imbalance,the subject positioning is not clear,the management measures are not perfect,its causes focus on the primary school service interests conflict,subject responsibility separation,insufficient resources,fuzzy management rules,etc.Fifth part is the improvement strategy of primary school service.Based on the problems and causes of after-school service in J,C and X in A city,the government needs to carry out after-school service;the school needs to improve the implementation rules of after-school service;the school needs to participate in after-school service in order to promote the efficient and sustainable development of after-school service in A city.
