In order to cultivate students of the new era who are morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically and physically healthy,the Ministry of Education issued the Guidance on After-school Services for Primary and Secondary School Students in 2017.Under the guidance of national policies,all parts of the country have issued after-school service policies and actively implemented them.After-school service in primary and secondary schools has become a hot issue widely concerned by the government,society,researchers and primary and secondary schools.The validity of after-school service is an important issue to ensure the legitimacy of after-school service in primary and secondary schools.What is the situation of after-school service in changsha primary schools,what experience has been accumulated in practice,and what problems have been encountered? How to make after-school service more effective? With these questions in mind,the author consulted relevant literature,conducted a questionnaire survey,and interviewed experts and scholars,relevant leaders,teachers,parents and students.Through the sorting and analysis of primary materials,it is found that there are abundant characteristic courses of after-school service in Changsha,and the participation rate of teachers and students is high.However,rich courses only provide opportunities and possibilities for children’s diversified development,but there is still a phenomenon of formality,not fully implemented;Heavy after-school services increase teachers’ burden and affect teachers’ effective input to normal teaching work.In order to ensure the normal teaching,after-class service often appears obvious "out of control" problem.After-school services that bloom with flowers are likely to wither with undesirable consequences.If there is no fundamental breakthrough and change in the concept of education and teaching,the original intention of after-school service to improve the quality of education and promote the all-round development of children will be difficult to be effectively realized.The main causes of these problems are the ideological understanding of the managers in the service input is not in place,improper management,lack of professional teachers,teachers workload overload;In the service process,facilities and venues are limited,home-school communication is not smooth,and the work of managers and executives is not in place;In the service effect quality evaluation is not comprehensive,lack of scientific,feasible and appropriate.From the three dimensions of service input,service process and service effect,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons affecting after-school service in primary schools in Changsha city.It is found that improving the understanding of administrators,integrating multiple resources,strengthening teacher training,improving the treatment of teachers,innovating service model and reducing service pressure can improve the effectiveness from the source.Improving after-school service mechanism can improve the effectiveness in the process because of the need for measures.Improving the effectiveness evaluation system of after-school service can improve the effectiveness of the results.
