Influence Of Family Capital On The Consumption Level Of Extracurricular Sports Training For Children In Guangzhou

Since the 1990 s,shadow education has been highly concerned by scholars at home and abroad.With the increasing demand for educational resources,parents’ attention is attracted by various kinds of off-campus training courses and extracurricular interest classes.In order to increase the knowledge of children,parents have invested in their children in education.However,the social voice for the discussion of children’s academic burden reduction is getting higher and higher in recent years.The guideline to ease the burdens of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education policy clearly further reduces the burden of students’ homework and off-campus training in compulsory education.With the implementation of the double reduction policy,the academic course training industry has been a great impact,while the sports training industry has ushered in new development opportunities.At present,domestic and foreign researches on the impact of extra-curricular remedial consumption mostly belong to the study of academic courses,and the lack of research on extra-curricular sports training.Especially the research on the family background affecting children to participate in extra-curricular sports training consumption.The research reviews and sorts out relevant literature on family capital and shadow education,and the research hypotheses and framework are put forward.The mixed research method means that the researcher collects quantitative data through questionnaires and conducts in-depth interviews with an interview outline.This research adopts the mixed research method of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,which explains the quantitative results in detail with in-depth qualitative data.Aiming to guide parents to implement children’s extracurricular sports training consumption reasonably,provide a reference for the government to optimize the allocation of sports education resources,standardize the management of sports training market and promote the healthy development of the sports consumption market,the mixed research method discusses the impact of family capital on the consumption level of children’s participation in extracurricular sports training in Guangzhou and analyses the reason of the results.Quantitative research conducts descriptive analysis,non-parametric test analysis and regression analysis on the survey data of children’s consumption in extracurricular sports training in Guangzhou.The result shows that there exist differences among different family capital children’s consumption of extracurricular sports training.Some family capital indexes show differences on children’s consumption levels in extracurricular sports training.There are differences in the impact of various types of family capital on children’s consumption expenditure in extracurricular sports training.Qualitative research results show that there are four factors affecting Guangzhou children’s extracurricular sports training consumption,such as family capital,school curriculum,social environment,and individual hobbies.The research generalizes that children with different family capital have different consumption of extracurricular sports training.Family social capital and economic capital have an impact on the spending on children’s extracurricular sports extracurricular sports training.Social environment,individual hobbies and school curriculum are important factors affecting children’s consumption level in extracurricular sports extracurricular sports training.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,the corresponding suggestions are put forward.The government should optimize the balanced allocation of educational resources,and the family should also cultivate the awareness of physical exercise and establish a correct view of education consumption.Moreover,the government should formulate special governance policies for extracurricular tutoring institutions,and extracurricular tutoring institutions should also continuously improve service levels.At last,the government should vigorously improve the quality of school physical education teaching,through the purchase of services to form the three areas of physical education linkage among home,school,and community.
