In recent years,core literacy(Competencies)has become one of the focal issues that the Chinese and foreign educational circles generally pay attention to.In 2014,the Ministry of Education proposed that "it is necessary to speed up the formulation of the core literacy system for Chinese students and implement the core literacy into subject teaching".Therefore,taking the core literacy of the discipline as the guide is the future development direction of school music education.The second music class is an important means to enrich students’ extracurricular life,cultivate team spirit and cooperation ability,and also an important part of the construction of school cultural connotation.For a long time,the music education circles have thought more about the core literacy in the first classroom,and paid less attention to the core literacy in the second classroom.As an extension of classroom teaching in time and space,the second classroom is the second carrier of education outside the classroom,and an effective way to cultivate the core literacy of the discipline.The 2022 edition of the art curriculum standard for the stage of compulsory education puts forward that the core qualities to be cultivated in the art curriculum mainly include aesthetic perception,artistic expression,creative practice and cultural understanding.At present,many second music classes in primary schools mainly focus on music knowledge and performance and singing skills in practice,and there is a phenomenon of disconnection from the focus on core music literacy.Based on this,this paper focuses on the research on the core literacy of the subject in the second music classroom of primary schools,and investigates the current situation of the wind bands,choirs and local non-heritage music(Nan Yin)interest activities in the three primary schools directly under the Quanzhou city.And on the basis of the core literacy,the system construction of the second music classroom should be put forward.In terms of schools,teachers and teaching,the "focus on experience and educating people with beauty" should be integrated into the second music classroom,so as to realize the connotation of the second music classroom.development and improvement of the education system.
