"Core Literacy" has become a popular topic,since the proposed,the domestic and foreign discussion around "core literacy" is more and more.With the introduction of the general framework of core literacy in 2016,the research of core literacy in China has entered a new stage.At present,every subject is working out the core literacy of every subject around the general requirement of the core literacy,and finally it is carried out in teaching practice to achieve the goal of cultivating people.Junior middle school students are in a special period,mind delicate,emotional sensitivity,music just through the melody to adjust the mood of young people,cultivate students positive and optimistic state of mind,purify the soul,cultivate sentiment.In2017,the music curriculum standard for ordinary senior middle schools clearly puts forward the connotation of the core literacy of music subject in senior middle schools,and states that the state will take the development of students’ core literacy as an important task of school education,however,there is no clear connotation in the music curriculum standard for compulsory education,but we find that it is closely related to the development of core literacy of Chinese students in the interpretation of the nature,concept and goal of the curriculum.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward the strategy of rural revitalization.In recent years,the battle against poverty has also been raging.The problem of uneven economic and social development is not only reflected in the fact that the rural economy lags behind the urban economy,it is also reflected in the backward ideas and traditional spiritual culture in rural areas.To improve the music core literacy of rural students,not only should we pay more attention to the music core literacy,but we should also find out the gaps among them and better improve the music education in rural areas,so that rural students can also enjoy a better,more comprehensive education.Taking three rural junior middle school students in l county of Wei Fang as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation of the music core literacy of these three schools through a survey,finding out the deficiencies in the cultivation of music core literacy and putting forward feasible suggestions to promote the implementation of music core literacy in local and even other rural areas,promote students to music and music-related cultural feelings,understanding and appreciation,improve their music core literacy.
