Research On Fundraising Issues Of Higher Education Development Foundation

With the continuous development of higher education,in order to broaden the funding sources of colleges and universities,more and more colleges and universities have established educational development foundations.The foundations undertake the responsibility and obligation to provide financial support for the development of college education.Establish an effective link between the mission of the university and the needs of donors,and accept public donations from caring people and enterprises from all walks of life.It also plays an important role in cooperating with the government in the field of education and assuming the public service functions of government education.Therefore,the fundraising work has gradually attracted widespread attention from the society.The fundraising work of the University Education Development Foundation is not only affected by external environment such as policies and regulations,social ideology,and economic development in various regions,but also by the development of school education,the foundation itself,such as staffing and other factors.Fundraising work faces many challenges and problems.These problems actually reflect the low level of fundraising of most college education development foundations.Therefore,we should study the problems existing in the fundraising work of college education development foundations and explore ways to improve their effective fundraising.value is gradually emerging.This paper takes X University Education Development Foundation as the research object,from the perspectives of incentive theory,social identity theory,and social capital theory,first through the literature research method,on the basis of studying domestic and foreign research on the financing of higher education development foundations,Define the concept of foundations,higher education development foundations and fundraising;secondly,by checking the Ministry of Education,Ministry of Civil Affairs,China Social Organization Network,Charity China,Foundation Center Network and the websites and We Chat public accounts of various higher education development foundations,Understand the relevant statistical data;finally,conduct interviews and exchanges with the staff of the X University Education Development Foundation and other personnel related to this research through the interview method.Introduce the current situation of fund-raising,and expound the effectiveness of the fund-raising work of the foundation.It is found that in its fund-raising work,there are problems such as limited fund-raising scope,single fund-raising model,and incomplete feedback on fund-raising projects.External factors such as economic development,charitable cultural atmosphere,university brand building,and internal factors such as the importance of universities,the construction of fund-raising teams,and the foundation’s own professional team are not perfect,and comprehensively analyze the reasons for the problems in its fund-raising work;On the basis of the theory,combined with the actual situation of the key university education development foundations,the countermeasures to improve the financing level of the university education development foundations are elaborated from three aspects: the sustainable financing ability,the specialization of the financing team and the standardization of the financing business.Taking the fundraising work of X University Education Development Foundation as an example,this paper discusses the common problems existing in the fundraising work of domestic college education development foundations,and provides reference and reference for the fundraising of other college education development foundations.
