According to Xi Jinping,to develop the national sports general secretary,refine the characteristic teaching integration development,the requirement of national outstanding sports talent cultivation,the Ministry of Education issued on deepening teaching fusion,advice to promote the development of adolescent health files,in the policy to the sports teaching the importance of increasing trend,the study of characteristics of basketball school in henan province to carry out the situation.Through the research,the deficiencies and problems are found in the middle schools with campus basketball characteristics in Henan Province,and the improvement countermeasures are put forward for the further development of basketball teaching in the middle schools with campus basketball characteristics in Henan Province.This paper adopts the method of literature,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and other research methods to investigate and study 10 campus basketball characteristic schools in Henan Province,and the results are as follows:1.Lack of basketball referee and sports rehabilitation knowledge explanation in the teaching content.The basketball teaching hours of basketball characteristic schools in Henan Province can meet the requirements,which can ensure the development of normal teaching activities.The classroom teaching content is mainly basketball technology,and that the explanation of basketball referee and sports rehabilitation knowledge is lacking.2.Carry out extracurricular basketball activities in various forms.Students’ participation in extracurricular activities is not high,especially for girls,so we should extensively listen to the needs of students,and carry out various forms of extracurricular activities in basketball.3.Lack of teachers’ special skills and competition experience.The vast majority of basketball teachers do not have a special basketball level,which shows that basketball teachers are lack of special skills and competition experience.4.The quality of the basketball courts in Henan Province is uneven,and many schools cannot update and repair the field equipment in time,which causes great potential safety risks to the usual basketball teaching and after-school basketball activities.5.The fund supply of the basketball training team is relatively tight.The way of obtaining the funds mainly depends on the government allocation and the school self-financing,which affects the daily training and outdoor competition of the basketball training team.6.Analysis of restriction factors: The leadership attitude of Henan basketball characteristic middle schools,the allocation of teachers,students ’basketball learning desire and academic pressure,parents’ views on sports activities and other factors will restrict the development of campus basketball.In addition,the lack of special funds,the frequency of outings and the lack of guidance of high-level coaches are the main factors restricting the development of basketball training teams.
