Research On The Construction Of Campus Basketball Culture In High Schools With Basketball Characteristics In Xi’an In The Background Of A World Sports Power

Since the national policy of school basketball special schools was introduced in2017,a total of 8,604 basketball special schools have now been selected nationwide.Of these,a total of 290 primary and secondary schools in Shaanxi Province are on the list,with Xi’an accounting for 63 of the 290 basketball-featured schools.Among these63 schools,there are 21 senior high schools,high schools of complete secondary schools,and high schools of 12-year schools.15 of these high schools or high schools were selected by random sampling to investigate the construction of basketball culture on their campuses.This paper investigates the construction of campus basketball culture in 15 high schools or senior high schools in Xi’an by conducting fieldwork,using expert interviews and questionnaires,and using literature and mathematical statistics to analyze the results of the survey,summarise the current situation,discuss the problems and causes,and propose corresponding countermeasures,which will not only This not only provides a reference for the construction of campus basketball culture in these 15 secondary schools but also serves as a guide for the construction of basketball culture in other secondary schools in Xi’an.The following conclusions were drawn from the survey:1.Concerning the construction of the material culture of campus basketball,the high schools with basketball characteristics in Xi’an have initially formed the material culture basis for conducting campus basketball activities,but the construction of the quantity and types of basketball equipment and the symbolic material culture of basketball is not satisfactory.2.Concerning the construction of the behavioral culture of campus basketball,the basketball league in the high schools with basketball characteristics in Xi’an is in good condition,but the way students participate in extracurricular basketball activities is rather homogeneous,basketball publicity is too traditional,and the content of basketball cultural festivals or carnivals is lacking.3.Concerning the construction of the campus basketball system and culture,the formation of the campus basketball leadership group in Xi’an high schools with basketball characteristics is good,but the construction of basketball-related systems is slightly inadequate,the basketball safety and security system and the supervision and evaluation system are seriously lacking,and the basketball publicity system needs to be strengthened.4.Concerning the construction of the spiritual culture of campus basketball,students in Xi’an high schools with basketball characteristics all basically have positive and healthy sportsmanship concepts,but generally lack the spirit of innovation;in terms of basketball morality,a small number of students are influenced by traditional results-only concepts,ignoring the process of basketball and basketball-related rules;in terms of basketball concepts,most students’ cognition remains at a superficial stage.
