Research On Group Work Involved In Occupational Safety Education Of Front-line Employees In Petrochemical Enterprises

Petrochemical enterprises have the characteristics of high temperature and pressure,flammability and explosion,toxicity and harm.Compared with other industries,they are more prone to malignant accidents.So,it is necessary to strengthen the occupational safety education of front-line employees.In recent years,the state has paid more attention to safety development,and revised relevant laws for many times to ensure the safe production of enterprises.Due to the lack of experience,the quantity of safety accidents remains high,which has brought huge economic losses.Therefore,the quality of occupational safety education is not good enough,and it is urgent to improve the effect of occupational safety education through other methods.This thesis determines the research subject based on the background of the transformation and development of state-owned enterprises and the characteristics of the petrochemical industry,determines the research direction through on-the-spot investigation,and combines with the actual situation of the enterprise,cooperates with the enterprise trade union,and applies the group work method to occupational safety education.Taking Q refinery as an example,the thesis studies the accidents of the enterprise in recent three years and finds that accidents still occur frequently under the existing occupational safety education.Questionnaire survey,unstructured interview and participatory observation were used to investigate the occupational safety awareness and behavior of front-line employees in Q refinery and the status of occupational safety education in Q refinery.The investigation found that there are problems in the three dimensions of employees’ safety attitude,safety rules and independent safety in terms of occupational safety awareness and behavior;in occupational safety education,the company has a single education method,lack of pertinence in education,and insignificant educational results.Based on Heinrich’s accident law,the author uses Maslow’s demand theory and social cognition theory conducts 8 group activities for the occupational safety education of front-line employees in Q refinery,aiming to improve the occupational safety awareness and safety behavior of employees and improve the level of occupational safety education in enterprises.In the comparison of pre-test and post-test data,the effect has been greatly improved.This study innovative group activities and broadens the research field of enterprise social work by selecting specific subject of front-line employees in petrochemical enterprises.The practical research proves the effectiveness and dominant tendency of group work involved in occupational safety education of front-line employees in petrochemical enterprises.On this basis,some suggestions are put forward: unite all departments of the enterprise and strengthen the cooperation between them;Strengthen the intervention of social workers to serve the safety of employees;Improve the relevant rules and regulations of the enterprise to ensure safety from the system;Strengthen the construction of safety culture and create a safety ambience.
