Peer communication ability is an important ability for children’s growth and development,and it is also a necessary ability for children’s socialization.Difficulty in peer interaction will have a serious impact on children’s psychological health and development.This problem is often rooted in an environment where families are incomplete and lack of good communication between parents and children due to various reasons.Communication,coupled with the lack of effective communication with the elders in the family,will make the problem of peer communication difficulties of left-behind children more prominent.During the professional internship,the author found a child with few peers,poor communication skills,and even withdrawn personality through field visits.After communicating with the community,he decided to help him on a case-by-case basis.The psychosocial therapy model can guide clients to vent and express,and can help social workers explore the inner feelings of clients during the intervention process,and then find out the causes of problems.This study takes the left-behind children in the X community as the research object,takes the psychosocial treatment model as the starting point,conducts in-depth exploration of the research with the method of interview,observation and scale,and adopts the direct treatment skills and indirect treatment skills of the psychosocial treatment model.Help clients resolve their feelings of inferiority in communication,tap their inherent advantages,and enhance their peers’ self-confidence in communication.Through case interviews,and observing changes in the communication skills of clients in life and games,and using scale records to form measurement comparisons,the role of the psychosocial treatment model in left-behind children’s peer communication difficulties was explored.Finally,through the evaluation of the service process and effect,the study believes that the social work intervention of the psychosocial treatment model has a certain effect on alleviating the difficulties of peer communication among left-behind children,and reflects at the end of the study.
