Incentive teaching can cultivate students’ interest in biology learning,stimulate students’ inner learning motivation,improve students’ participation and initiative in class,which is a teaching method in line with the inner demand of the new curriculum reform.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to apply incentive teaching to biology class in senior high school.First of all,through literature review,define the concepts of "motivation","educational motivation" and "motivation teaching method",summarize the research status of motivation theory at home and abroad and the theoretical basis of motivation teaching.Secondly,it discusses how to use incentive teaching method and principles in biology teaching.Then,based on the above research,the teaching design is constructed and applied.Finally,through the questionnaire survey method,paper and pen test method,classroom observation method and interview method to analyze the influence of incentive teaching on students’ academic performance,learning behavior and learning situation,draw a conclusion.The practical results show that there is no significant difference in academic performance between the experimental class and the control class(P=0.572).In terms of learning behavior,there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class.The number of students in the experimental class who speak independently in class increases,and more students consolidate their biological knowledge by self-study at night.In terms of learning,motivation teaching can improve students’ interest in learning biology,the students’ biology learning attitude,learning autonomy,strengthen students’ biology to improve students’ ability to solve problems,and on the self evaluation,summarizing ability and judgment ability have bigger promotion,but little impact on the learning method;In the interview,it is found that motivation teaching method is more acceptable among students with low score(below 60 points)than among students with medium score(60-80 points)and high score(above 80 points).The recognition of motivational teaching method is higher in boys than in girls,and the influence of motivational teaching method on boys’ performance is greater than that of girls.Students with different scores prefer different motivational methods.Students with high scores prefer target motivation method and competition motivation method,students with medium scores prefer language motivation method,and students with low scores prefer interest motivation method.This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of motivational teaching method in biology teaching in senior high school,and the use of motivational teaching method can improve students’ academic performance,learning behavior and learning situation.However,due to the short experiment time and small sample size,the general applicability of this conclusion needs to be further studied.It is hoped that this study can provide some reference for the further study of incentive teaching. |
