| The study of biology courses is an essential educational experience for every citizen,and the learning outcomes of biology courses are one of the basic components of civic literacy.As a learning outcome of this course,each student should strive to achieve specific goals of knowledge,ability,emotional attitudes and values.One of the goals is that students should initially have the ability to collect,identify and use graphic materials and other information inside and outside the classroom.The biology subject mainly focuses on the study of biological phenomena and laws,but students cannot observe the biological phenomena involved in the junior high school stage with the naked eye,nor can they understand the laws in the regulations,and it is even more impossible to imagine according to the text content.Therefore,in junior high school Illustration teaching mode can play a vital role in biology teaching.In biology teaching,how to make good use of illustrations to improve students’ application ability is an important task of biology teaching,and it is also an effective means to practice the new curriculum concept of biology.However,through research,it is found that most scholars pay more attention to the strategy research of illustrations,and very few people propose corresponding illustrations teaching models.Starting from the requirements of the new curriculum standards for the core literacy of students,this research is based on the characteristics of biology,and combined with the current problems and actual situation of illustration teaching in my country,the illustration teaching mode is proposed,and the illustration teaching mode is tested in actual teaching.The effect depends on whether it is feasible in actual teaching.This research mainly adopts literature research method,educational experiment method,data analysis method and questionnaire survey method,combined with the teaching materials of the seventh grade of biology of the People’s Education Edition,to carry out theoretical research and practical exploration of illustration teaching mode.Firstly,the research questions are determined by consulting literature combined with three years of teaching experience;secondly,the relevant literature on biology teaching and illustration teaching is studied to understand the current research status and research background of illustration teaching,and determine the theory on which illustration teaching is based.Then,on the basis of existing research,interviews were conducted with front-line teachers to understand teachers’ understanding of illustration teaching,and the illustrations of the teaching materials for the second volume of the seventh grade of biology in the junior high school version of the People’s Education Edition and the picture-related questions in the Weinan junior high school academic proficiency test.Arrangement and analysis are carried out,taking this as the starting point to carry out research and preliminarily construct the illustration teaching classroom mode;finally,in the educational practice,the experimental group is taught by the illustration teaching mode.The research object of educational practice is two classes of the same level in the seventh grade of Tongguan County Sizhi School,and the educational practice time limit is one semester.On the one hand,through the analysis of the results of the "Students’ Biological Learning Questionnaire",it is concluded that the students’ interest in biology learning,classroom teaching effect,knowledge application ability,and core literacy development in the experimental group have improved compared with the control group;On the one hand,by comparing the test scores of students before and after the experiment,through the independent T test,it is concluded that the scores of the experimental group are significantly higher than those of the control group,and through the paired sample T test,it is concluded that the experimental group has a significant score after the illustration teaching mode.There was no change in the control group compared to before the experiment.According to the results of educational practice,the following conclusions can be drawn: the teaching principles and teaching links based on the illustration teaching model are effective and reasonable,and the proposed illustration teaching model is highly feasible in daily teaching activities;It stimulates students’ interest in learning,improves students’ autonomous learning ability and cooperative communication ability,and can quickly improve the teaching effect of teachers and the learning effect of students.Finally,by summarizing and reflecting on the whole research process and normal teaching,some suggestions are put forward to the front-line teachers: teachers should keep learning and improve theoretical knowledge;teachers should pay attention to rational adjustment of teaching links;Give up easily,dare to challenge difficulties,and dare to try new teaching modes. |
