| With the development of the education of science and technology,and the requirements of thenew curriculum reform concept,biology textbook illustrations increased substantially, while theentrance examinations contents are more closer to life,even times.Textbook illustrations play a veryimportant role in developing the book resources,improving teachers’ comprehensive quality,andeven changing the way of students’study and accomplish the three dimension objects.Efficient useof the textbook illustrations can improve teachers’ ability to control the textbooks and curriculumexecution,which is very important in biology teaching.This study mainly adapts the methods of literature retrieval, investigation, interview,observation and mathematical analysis,students and biology teachers in13Yantai high schools asthe research object, to make an analysis of the situation of the textbook illustrations using,so that itcould know the reasons of the illustrations’ absence in high school textbooks,and then put forwardthe strategies and Suggestions to solve the problem.In addition, the author wrote a perfect teachingplan,and made a practice and reflection in high school teaching.Through investigation and interviews,the author found the following problems that exist in highschool textbook illustration teaching.(I)The understanding of textbook illustrations does not reachthe designated position.(II）The use of textbook illustrations is in a low rate.（III）The form of theillustrations using is very single.(IV)Biology teachers have not done a better job in teaching thisaspect.Based on such problems,the study analyzed the reasons for problems in current use oftextbook illustrations for teaching, and put forward a preliminary solution to the problem. At thesame time, the author made a feasible textbook illustrations with different teaching mode ofcombining the teaching design, and has carried on the teaching practice and reflection.By reading literature,investigating,and practicing,the author draw the followingconclusions.(A)Textbook illustrations can stimulate students’ interest in learning, assist students tounderstand the core concepts and principles, better promote the three-dimensional teaching goals,and embody the new curriculum concept.(B) Encouragement of the use of textbook illustrations donot deny the role of modern technology, but hope to better present textbook illustrations with thehelp of modern technology.(C) The textbook illustrations of complete interpretation requiresteachers have certain understanding of textbook and capacity to govern the class.(D)Putting theillustrations into each teaching mode, can have twice the result with half the effort.Finally,the author put forward the further research plan to improve the study. |
