The official promulgation of the "Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)"means that the new-round curriculum reform based on the physics key competences has officially kicked off,with the goal of fostering virtue in education.Although the current junior high school physics teaching has not been implemented in accordance with the new version of the curriculum standards,the research on the cultivation and development of physics key competences,the revolution of junior middle school physics teaching philosophy,teaching mode,teaching method,and teaching evaluation method under the key competences have already been in full swing.Traditional teaching mainly takes "hours" or "units" as a unit for the preparation of teaching,until Professor Cui Yunhuo of East China Normal University clearly proposed that "the key competences promote the birth of large unit teaching" in 2019.Since then,guided by the key competences,most scholars have carried out research and practice on large unit teaching in Chinese,physical education,politics,history,geography,and other disciplines,and have achieved certain achievements.Large unit teaching is an important way to implement the key competences of physics.Therefore,according to the current situation of electrical teaching in junior high school,the research on the teaching design of electrical large unit is carried out.Guided by the key competences of physics,the current status of domestic and international research on large unit teaching is sorted out through the method of literature analysis.Through questionnaires and exercise analysis,we can understand the current situation of students’electrical learning,analyze the reasons for students’difficulties in electrical learning,determine the difficulties in electrical learning,and find that students’ ability to comprehensively analyze and deal with problems is relatively weak.Therefore,combining the key competences of physics with the concept and implementation strategy of large unit teaching,the complete teaching design of the"electricity"large unit is proposed.At the same time,by referring to relevant literature and combining with large unit teaching theory proposed by Professor Cui Yunhuo,a formative evaluation scale for large unit teaching design is devised in junior high school physics.In addition,the author takes "Ohm’s Law",which is difficult for most students,as an example to design a teaching case,and evaluate the feasibility and practicability of teaching design case according to the formative evaluation scale of large unit teaching design.
