With the continual progress of education reform, core literacy has emerged as a hot topic of research in the current education field. The overall promotion of music teaching reform and the development of corresponding assessment systems and methods are important pathways to the realization of students’ core literacy. Therefore, the question of how to assess students’ level of quality in music content and whether teachers can implement the requirements of core textbooks into their actual teaching has become an urgent issue.Using the Compulsory Education Music Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)as the basis, this paper uses the Delphi method to determine the evaluation indicators and construct the evaluation system based on the content of the Measures of Artistic Quality for Primary and Secondary School Students and the General High School Music Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),and uses the SPSS25.0 tool to analyse the reliability and validity of the evaluation system, finally constructing a core literacy-oriented junior high school music The evaluation scale was finally constructed. The scale was then implemented in Secondary School S.The results of the students’ tests were assessed to infer the achievement of the core literacy of music in Secondary School S.Suggestions and countermeasures were made. The assessment found that the current situation of core literacy development in music education for secondary school students in S is not optimistic, specifically in terms of average aesthetic perception ability, wide variation in artistic expression ability and cultural understanding ability to be improved. In view of this, the author puts forward specific suggestions and improvement measures for the evaluation of secondary school music teaching under the guidance of core literacy from both theoretical and practical aspects. The specific suggestions in terms of theory are: to establish a scientific concept of assessment and understand the connotation of core literacy;to conduct a multi-dimensional analysis of assessment results to understand students’ core literacy;and to make use of the assessment function to improve students’ core literacy.Improvements in practice: combining qualitative and quantitative assessment;diversifying teaching and learning assessment methods. |
