Four articles of MAO Zedong are selected in the Chinese textbooks of senior high school compiled by the ministry,and there are three political papers in addition to poems.The return of political papers such as "Opposing the Eight-party Ideology" and "Reforming Our Study" is the requirement of activating revolutionary historical memory and inheriting revolutionary tradition under the background of "establishing virtue and cultivating people" in the new period.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the senior high school Chinese textbooks published by the People’s Education Society have more or less selected MAO zedong’s articles,which shows the importance of MAO Zedong’s works in Chinese textbooks.There are different teaching tasks in different periods,and the same articles are selected into Chinese teaching materials in different periods,which bear very different teaching tasks.In current Chinese teaching,teachers must take curriculum standards as guidance,combine the content characteristics of articles and students’ learning characteristics,find the best teaching strategy,and realize the value of MAO Zedong’s works.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters:In the first chapter,from the first edition of Chinese textbooks for senior high school published by The Founding People’s Education Society to the use of the compiled version of Chinese textbooks for senior high school,the selection of MAO Zedong’s works in the Chinese textbooks for senior high school showed a trend of increasing first,then decreasing,and then increasing.At the least,only one poem was selected,and at the most,more than a dozen were selected.The selected articles of some Chinese textbooks are the turning point of MAO Zedong’s works from reduction to increase in high school Chinese textbooks.Three of the five compulsory Chinese textbooks have been selected into MAO Zedong’s articles,and some have more than one.From this,we can see the position of MAO Zedong’s works in Chinese textbooks in the new era.In chapter two,we must realize the value of MAO Zedong’s works and give full play to the role of MAO Zedong’s works in the Chinese textbooks of senior high school.MAO Zedong’s works are worthy of serious study by teachers and students both in terms of language and ideological attitude.MAO Zedong’s works selected into Chinese teaching materials have rich value in Chinese teaching.This paper analyzes and excavates its value in combination with the four dimensions of core literacy.In the third chapter,students and teachers in practice schools are taken as the main objects of investigation,and the teaching status of MAO Zedong’s works is understood through interviews and questionnaires.There are three main problems in the teaching of MAO Zedong’s works: The historical barrier hinders the dialogue between the students and the text,and the improper selection of teaching methods and teaching content makes the teaching of MAO Zedong’s works not full of vitality.In chapter four,combined with the existing problems in the teaching of MAO Zedong’s works,as well as the characteristics and teaching value of the text,this chapter puts forward three strategies for the teaching of the two genres of MAO Zedong’s works--poetry and political thesis,and selects one article from each of the two genres to carry out a specific teaching design.
