Research On The Development Countermeasures Of Geriatric Education In Colleges And Universities In Shaanxi Province From The Perspective Of Active Aging

The advent of an aging society has brought great challenges to China.Colleges and universities for the elderly are not only an important place to implement elderly education,but also an important measure to promote my country’s construction of a learning society,a sound lifelong education system,and an aging population.With the increasing number of elderly people in Shaanxi Province,the popularization of lifelong education,and the strong support of the Shaanxi Provincial Government,in order to satisfy their own development and personal interests,many elderly people choose to enter the University for the elderly.Although Shaanxi University for the Elderly has experienced more than 30 years of development and achieved some achievements,it is not mature enough.This paper takes three universities for the elderly in Shaanxi Province as an example,using the theory of public goods,empowerment and empowerment,and the theory of the range of educational needs for the elderly,it conducts an empirical study on the three universities for the elderly in Shaanxi Province.Research on teaching mode,school-running results and ability training,etc.,found that the special supporting policies and regulations are not perfect,the teaching mechanism is not complete enough,the educational environment needs to be optimized,and the ability training is not comprehensive enough.According to the requirements of the national "Elderly Education Development Plan(2016-2020)",from the perspective of active aging,the colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province start from the connotation of active aging,from the three pillars of "participation,security,and health" to Shaanxi Province.Corresponding countermeasures have been put forward for the development of elderly education in colleges and universities for the elderly.The government guarantees the rights of the elderly to receive education,colleges and universities create opportunities for the elderly to participate in society,and the society provides support for the physical and mental health of the elderly.Building a systematic and complete senior education policy system is the key to active aging.The learning needs of the elderly are the necessary support and endogenous driving force for active aging.mechanism.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the development level of colleges and universities for the elderly in Shaanxi Province,and then promote the education level of the elderly in Shaanxi,so as to effectively solve the problem of population aging.
