In recent years, the process of urbanization in China has continued to advance. With the expansion of urban space, land acquisition and changing from village committees to residents’ committees have accelerated the disappearance of villages so that the number of original rural material memory realms and symbolic memory realms have been reduced. The inheritance of rural collective memory is facing difficulties. As a staged product in the process of urbanization construction, this new kind of residents’ committees are widespread throughout the country with characteristics such as transitional, ambiguity and remodeling. Therefore studying the inheritance of rural collective memory is important and necessary for promoting urban-rural integrated development and establishing resident identity. The Village History Museum,as a building specially set up in the village to preserve the original appearance and cultural history of the village, not only contains the material objects of production and life, but also retains the common historical and spiritual core of the village with cultural symbols.out of the memory realms. On the theoretical level, use the "Realms of Memory" theory to analyze the practice of construction of the L Village History Museum can explore the way to inherit and shape the rural collective memory through the construction of memory realms and to analyze the process of local social history in China with Western theory. It provides a possibility for the localization of the inheritance of social memory theory. Therefore,I took L Village in Licheng District as the investigation object. On the basis of investigation and interviews,I sorted out the current situation of collective memory in the village relocated community and analyzed the construction of the village history museum based on Nora’s " Realms of Memory" theory. It explores the process of inheriting and shaping rural collective memory in the form of a village history museum.By tracking the practice of the construction of the Village History Museum in L Village, this paper analyzes the path of inheriting the collective memory of the village through the construction of the memory realms of the Village History Museum that carries the memory. From the theoretical perspective of inheritance and inheritance, through the construction practice of the Village History Museum,a material "realms of memory" was seted up.The material memory realms is reproduced with the architectural landscape as the carrier, and the symbolic memory presented in the text is constructed, shaped, and inherited, and the collective memory is expanded. The main body of inheritance—the reproduction of important memory objects and the enrichment of the carrier of memory—were supported so as to realize the new inheritance of rural collective memory.Inheriting and shaping the collective memory of the village is not the only function of the construction of the memory realms of the Village History Museum. Its more important purpose is to connect the history of the village with the reality of the community after the village has been relocated. On the basis of supporting elements, attention should also be paid to effective measures to link the construction of the village history museum with the real life of the villagers after the village has been relocated, such as through integration with service facilities and carrying out cultural activities based on the village history museum. This provides a transitional identity memory "habitat" for the residents of the village-to-residential community, which is based on the "village" identity established on the basis of the rural collective memory and the "citizen" identity under the policy change.
