Since the marine power strategy was put forward in the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the significance of marine education has become increasingly prominent.At the same time,higher requirements for education on national conditions have likewise been proposed along with the fundamental task of education for cultivating virtue and shaping personality.Guided by national strategy and curriculum ideological and political,It is of great significance to carry out the national conditions education on marine resources in geography teaching of senior high school,which not only helps high school students to establish a scientific view of marine resources and cultivates the basic literacy of “being aware of the ocean,getting close to the ocean and falling in love with the ocean”,but also implements the marine power strategy and realizes the goal of education for cultivating virtue and shaping personality.Based on the analysis of the current national conditions on marine resources,this study firstly sorts out the suitable contents for national conditions education on marine resources in the Curriculum Standards for General High School Geography(2017 Edition)and the high school geography textbooks published by People’s Education Press by means of content analysis.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of national conditions education on marine resources in geography teaching of senior high school by questionnaires and mathematical statistics,and summarizes the problems of national conditions on marine resources existing in geography teaching of senior high school.After that,according to the problems identified in the survey,it proposes the principles and strategies of national conditions education on marine resources in geography teaching of senior high school.Finally,based on the proposed principles and strategies,it designs a thematic teaching case.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:First,there are abundant marine resources in the high school geography textbooks published by People’s Education Press,but different types of marine resources are unevenly distributed in textbooks.Besides,the contents of marine resources in the textbooks are diverse and hierarchical,and the presentation of marine resources is based on the deep integration of the image system and the text system.In addition,While presenting marine knowledge,it pays attention to infiltrating marine national conditions.Second,the survey results suggest that the current situation of national conditions education on marine resources in geography teaching of senior high school is poor,which reflects in the weak cognition of teachers and students on the national conditions on marine resources,The teaching resources selected by teachers are relatively limited in the teaching of marine resources,The contents of national conditions education on marine resources are unbalanced,and the level of national conditions education on marine resources is not deep enough.Third,based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of national conditions education on marine resources in geography teaching of senior high school,this study proposes that the principles to be followed in national conditions education on marine resources are positive education,seeking truth from facts,moderate openness,and literacy orientation.Teachers should adopt teaching strategies which could take to optimize national conditions education on marine resources are based on classroom teaching,infiltrating the national conditions of the ocean;focusing on vertical and horizontal comparison,and injecting the atmosphere of the times;fully integrating knowledge and carrying out thematic teaching;enriching organizational forms and rooting in the soul of patriotism to achieve literacy goals.In order to provide reference for high school geography teachers to carry out national conditions education on marine resources,a thematic teaching case of "Treading the Coast of the East China Sea" is designed.
