| In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the "General Technology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)".Subsequently,the general technology textbooks of four domestic publishing houses were revised successively,and the revised textbooks quickly entered the general technology classes of senior high schools in various provinces and cities.STEAM education is a reflection of the direction in which today’s teaching forms are heading,which is systematic,practical,diverse and open;At the same time,it also reflects the mainstream of current education,taking students as the main body,paying attention to the cultivation of students’ core qualities,paying attention to the education form combining knowledge and practice,and paying attention to the open learning design of students’ personal experience.Therefore,this thesis makes a comparative analysis of the general technology textbooks from the perspective of STEAM,and applies the research results of comparative analysis to the textbook design.The results obtained have certain reference value and practical significance for the teaching of general technology courses.This paper summarizes the development of STEAM education and the compilation process of general technology textbooks in China.According to the core literacy of general technology discipline and the STEAM pyramid model,the STEAM coding table is compiled to further divide STEAM into operational and specific contents.Science(S)contains seven sections,technology(T)14 sections,engineering(E)14 sections,mathematics(M)5 sections,and humanities(A)15sections.According to STEAM coding table,this thesis extracts and presents STEAM elements of "Course Nature and basic concepts","Subject Core literacy" and "Course Objectives" in "General Technical Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)".This thesis makes a comparative analysis of the arrangement,chapter structure and column setting of 8volumes of the compulsory part technology and Design 1 and Technology and Design 2 of the four versions of high school general technology textbooks.STEAM elements in column contents of 8textbooks are extracted and STEAM element coverage of column contents is given.Statistics are made on the teaching cases in the textbook content and STEAM elements in practice projects,and the data of teaching cases in each textbook,STEAM element combination form of practice projects,quantity distribution and coverage are given,and the data are analyzed.For the column in the textbooks,this thesis case and practice research of the project,a comprehensive four version of general technology textbooks compiling pattern,column design,text,images,combining with the situational teaching method,case teaching,task driven learning method,and compared with STEAM education elements,considering the practice of the general technology curriculum attributes at the same time,Put forward the general technology STEAM classroom design framework.To Sue version of the technology and design 1,general process of "design" section and Sue version of "technical and design 2" "system analysis and design" in the section on STEAM teaching design,is a blend of situational teaching,case teaching,task driven teaching form,by setting the column to practical project cases,and integration.Based on the analysis of the textbook,this thesis puts forward the following five suggestions on the use of the textbook :(1)expand the subject knowledge related to the content of the textbook;(2)Add science(S)and mathematics(M)related learning auxiliary materials in the use of teaching materials;(3)In the use of teaching materials to master the columns,reasonable use;(4)The design and selection of cases in the use of teaching materials should be rich in themes and diversified elements;(5)In the use of textbooks,practical items should be closely linked with theoretical content. |
