The junior high school ethics and rule of law course is not only a subject course that imparts cultural knowledge to students,but also a moral education course that cultivates students’ good moral character and healthy emotional ability,which plays an important role in cultivating students’ ideological character and all-round development.After the revision of the 2016 junior high school ethics and rule of law textbook,the course content was fully updated,paying more attention to the emotional intention and moral education function of the course content.The application of emotional teaching in the junior high school ethics and rule of law curriculum is to adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum reform,meet the emotional needs of students,and conform to the embodiment of students’ cognitive development laws,emotional teaching can cultivate students’ positive emotions,stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning,help students establish a positive attitude towards life,thereby improving the quality of teaching.The author collects,sorts out and analyzes the works and literature of domestic and foreign scholars on emotional teaching,and preliminarily understands the connotation of emotional teaching,emotional teaching and junior high school moral rule of law and its relationship with the new curriculum reform.In addition,through the investigation of the current situation of emotional teaching application in a junior high school moral education and rule of law course in Jinan City,Shandong Province,it is found that the application of emotional teaching in junior high school has both advantages and disadvantages."Get" refers to the achievements that have been made,including the emotional atmosphere of junior high school moral education and rule of law teaching,teachers’ emphasis on emotional teaching,and the improvement of students’ enthusiasm for learning morality and rule of law."Loss" refers to the problems that still exist at present,including the fixed and single application methods and means of emotional teaching,the mere formality of emotional teaching,the lack of emotional experience,the content of emotional teaching does not meet the emotional needs of students,and the effect of emotional teaching fails to achieve the expected goal.Through analysis,the author found that the main reasons for the above problems are as follows: First,the realization of students’ emotional goals is neglected in the examination-oriented education system;Second,the deep-rooted influence of traditional teaching concepts and teaching methods;There is a lack of emotional communication between students,and it is difficult to understand the emotional needs of students.Accordingly,based on the principle of "problem-cause-measure" one-to-one correspondence,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for improving the application effect of emotional teaching in junior high school moral education and rule of law courses: Clarify the goals of emotional teaching and cultivate students’ rich emotional world;Optimize the teaching process and flexibly adopt a variety of emotional teaching methods;Adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum reform and promote the professional development of Taoist teachers;Based on students and teaching materials,the teaching content must meet the needs of students emotional needs.Finally,this paper shows the application of emotional education in German and French rules in junior high schools through classroom examples,and provides some suggestions and references for middle school teachers of German and French rules to explore in the new curriculum reform.Really improve classroom efficiency and benefit students.
