Reading and writing are two important parts in Chinese teaching.They are independent and promote each other.Therefore,the combination of reading and writing is an effective way to improve students’ Chinese ability.Although teachers highly approve of the combination of reading and writing in concept,in practice,due to the lack of theoretical support,strategic guidance and method guidance of the combination of reading and writing,the teaching of the combination of reading and writing often becomes a mere formality and fails to achieve the purpose of promoting reading and writing.Based on the above understanding,this paper,from the actual situation,selected a total of seven junior middle schools from Tongliao City,Khorqin District,Kailu County,Zhalut banner,and conducted a survey on the teaching situation of reading and writing in these seven junior middle schools by means of questionnaire survey,interview and on-site observation.Through the analysis of the survey data,it is found that there are some problems in the teaching of combining reading and writing in junior middle school,such as teachers’ neglect to promote reading by writing,students’ lack of emotional experience in writing,teachers’ insufficient exploitation and utilization of the resources combining reading and writing in teaching materials,and too single way of composition evaluation.The reasons for these problems are as follows: teachers’ insufficient understanding of the value of combining reading and writing,teachers’ lack of systematic teaching and training of combining reading and writing,teachers’ failure to establish a correct view of teaching materials combining reading and writing,teachers’ outdated concept of composition evaluation and lack of innovation.In view of the above problems and causes,the author tries to start with the value and characteristics of the combination of reading and writing,and sort out the resources of the combination of reading and writing in textbooks.Combining with the characteristics of textbooks,the author puts forward the teaching strategy of the combination of reading and writing based on junior high school Chinese textbooks,that is,selecting points according to the text and designing creative reading and writing goals.Task-driven,experiential reading and writing activities;Rationally reform teaching materials to enhance the teaching effect of combining reading and writing;Diversified evaluation methods promote the combination of reading and writing.Finally,guided by the values and strategies of reading and writing combined teaching,two operational reading and writing combined teaching programs are designed and summarized.
