Purpose:This study explores the influence of speed-based strength training on the improvement rate of Sprinters in Sports College.Method:Thirteen students from the School of Physical Fitness in Beijing Sport University, who have the certification of National Second Level Sprinting, participated in this experiment. The subjects were randomly divided into a control group(n=7)and an experimental group(n=6).The control group used traditional resistance training with an initial load of 75%Maxmium and gradually increased the load;the experimental group used Velocity-based strength training with a target velocity of 0.8 m/s and gradually increased the load during the whole intervention. Both the control group and the experimental group performed strength training of back squats for 6 weeks, twice a week,5 sets ×5 times each. Before and after the training intervention, both groups performed body weight test,dual-energy X-ray bone densitometer test, squat maximum test, vertical jump test analysis, and the first step after squatting is to test the relative impulse in the vertical direction and the relative impulse in the water direction.Results:(1)Compared with before training, the weight of the control group increased significantly(p<0.05),there was no significant change in body fat percentage, and the thigh muscle content increased but not significantly, after 6 weeks of strength training;compared with before training In contrast,,the weight of the experimental group increased, but there was no significant change, the body fat rate did not change significantly, and the thigh muscle content of the experimental group increased significantly(p<0.05),after 6 weeks of strength training.(2)Compared with before training, the 1RM squat in the control group has a very significant improvement(p<0.01);compared with before training, after 6 weeks of strength training, the experimental group has an extremely significant increase in 1RM squat.Significantly improved(p<0.01),after 6 weeks of strength training.(3)Compared with before training, the control group had no significant effect on the height of vertical jump and the relative strength of vertical jump;compared with before training, after 6 weeks of strength training, the height of vertical jump of the experimental group There was no significant change, and the relative strength of vertical jump increased significantly(p<0.05),after 6 weeks of strength training.(4)Compared with before training, the relative impulse in the vertical direction of the control group decreased, but was not significant, and the relative impulse in the horizontal direction decreased but not significant;compared with before training, after 6 weeks of strength training,The relative impulse of the experimental group increased in the vertical direction, but not significant, and the relative impulse in the horizontal direction increased but not significant, after 6 weeks of strength training.Conclusion:Velocity-based strength training can improve the 1RM squat value and the relative strength of the vertical jump of sprinters, and the relative impulse in the horizontal direction of the first step after squat also has a tendency to increase. It has a positive effect on the strength improvement rate for sprinters, which can be used as a strength training method for sprinters. Also,it provides evidence to apply velocity-based training to sprint. |
