Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic,all kinds of schools have responded to the national call for online instructional teaching for students through online teaching platforms and online teaching resources.Online teaching has brought a revolutionary new style of learning with its characteristics of flexibility,convenience and nonlimitation of time and space.Learning through internet is one of the necessary skills for college students under the Covid-19 epidemic.In order to understand the implementation status of on-line teaching of Wushu routine course in our university and the problems encountered in the course of implementation,this paper adopts the questionnaire survey method and expert interview method,carrying out the questionnaire survey among students majoring in Wushu routines in Beijing Sport University,and having interviews with in-service teachers in the front line.Based on the SPSS software,it was analyzed that the online teaching on Wushu routines encountered difficulties,and we puts forward some suggestions to address these problems.The study concluded that:(1)Both the purpose and content of teaching have changed.Teacher adjusted the teaching syllabus and process according to each student’s actual situation at home,and simplified the movements of the Wushu routines course,which makes it easier for students to learn at home.In terms of teaching methods,Rain Classroom and Tencent Meeting Room are most commonly used by teachers and students,which enable students to attend online class freely and to learn more using the learning sources shared by teachers.(2)In the view of teaching environment,most of the terminals used by students are laptop,and the network is basically stable when learning online;while there are not enough space and place for students to practice teaching content at home.In order to achieve the best teaching effect,teachers explained the key points of movements and route orientation by using the methods of live demonstration and teaching videos,and explained and corrected the irregularities found in the video according to each student’s work individually.(3)In terms of teaching feedback,the students were satisfied with the school’s and the teacher’s performance in online teaching,42.22%of students thought that the effect of online learning was not obvious,and 54.44%of students hoped that a mixed teaching method of offline teaching-led+online teaching-assisted could be adopted after the epidemic.Teachers believed that they could not grasp the learning state of students when teaching online,and the curriculum assessment needed to include the performance video uploaded by students,as well as their usual class performance and regular training,etc.into their examination results.(4)The outstanding problems reflected by teachers include:Learning effect of training courses is unsatisfactory;The speed at which teachers accept online instruction is uneven;It is difficulty in implementing regular teaching plans;poor participation of students;functions of the platform is not perfect;and poor classroom atmosphere.Aiming at the problems mentioned above,this paper proposes to improve from 7 aspects:such as the teaching objectives,curriculum content,teaching methods,teaching environment,teachers,teaching feedback,and students. |
