| In the long history of development, as a traditional Chinese sports project, Wushu fully absorbed the essence of Chinese traditional culture, thus becoming an important component of the oriental culture and oriental civilization. And it also gave birth to the Chinese nation enduring martial spirit which passed down through thousands of years. With its popularization in colleges and universities, Wushu greatly enriched the campus culture, which also trained a lot of martial arts talent.By using documentary data method, interviews, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logic method and many other research methods, and choosing Wushu high-level routine athletes, teachers and management staff in two universities in Jiangxi province as the research object, this paper carried out a very comprehensive analysis of high-level Wushu routine sports teams'achievements, the status quo of athletes and coaches, and the management status and other problems. The research findings are as follow:1. In past few years, Wushu high-level sports teams in Jiangxi Province have made a series of achievements in all kinds of provincial and domestic Wushu competitions, and trained a large number of outstanding athletes. Although Coaches of wushu teams have high-level skill and the whole coach team is relatively young (average age of 35.35 years, with 33.1.6% of the coaches have a master's degree, with 33.1.6% of the coaches have the associate professor title), but the coaches are relatively weak on scientific research. That is to say the amount of scholarly coach is relatively small.2. The age structure of Wushu athletes of high-level sports teams in colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province is young, with an average age of 21.5 years. They are all high level athletes, most of the national-level athletes and their skills have significantly improved after getting into the college. But the contradictions between athletes'study and training are still not well resolved.3. At present, colleges and universities in Jiangxi province have made a series of measures on the managements of Wushu high-level sports teams, including the management on athletes and coaches, management on sports training and competition, and on sports funding.4. Of course there are some problems in the development process of those Wushu high-level sports teams in Jiangxi Province, there are some problems, specifically manifested in these aspects: the improvements of the running target of sports teams and the introduction and incentive systems of coaches need, the contradictory between study and training, the shortage on funding for the sports teams, and the unestablishment of teams'evaluation index system. |
