College students usually stay away from their families and their parents during college,but as the first environment in which they grow,the family environment often affects their lives.The concept of family environment usually consists of two layers:material environment and spiritual environment.Material environment refers to all visible material conditions possessed by the family,and spiritual environment refers to the spiritual and cultural atmosphere of the family.College students come from all over the country and have been affected by different family environments since childhood.They come to the same school with a common campus environment,they still show a certain difference in the level of learning engagement.Therefore,to explore the impact of family environment on college students’ learning engagement is the key issue discussed in this study.In order to study the impact of the family environment on college students’ learning engagement,this research uses the literature research method,the questionnaire survey method,the statistical analysis method and so on.First of all,through the relevant literature at home and abroad for induction and integration,lay the theoretical foundation for the study.Then,in the questionnaire design stage,the test questionnaire was formed by using The Manual Of Mental Health Assessment Scale and NSSE-CHINA questionnaire.After the trial investigation,according to the results of the investigation and the feedback of the respondents,the questionnaire was revised and improved,and finally a questionnaire suitable for this study was formed.The questionnaire is mainly used to test the family environment and the level of college students’ learning engagement through the family environment scale and the learning engagement scale,and to explore the relationship between the two by statistical methods.The "family environment scale" measures the three dimensions of family economic situation,family relations and parenting methods.The"learning engagement scale" measures the five dimensions of academic challenge level,active cooperation level,student-teacher interaction level,richness of educational experience,the support degree of the campus environment.This questionnaire uses a random sampling method on the J campus.A total of 481 valid questionnaires were collected through two questionnaire forms:electronic questionnaires and paper questionnaires.Finally,the collected data was analyzed by Amos for confirmatory factor analysis,which proved the rationality of the questionnaire design,and SPSS23.0 was used for descriptive analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Finally get the results of this study:The overall level of college students’ learning engagement is low.In addition,the family environment does have an impact on level of college students’ learning engagement,the factors such as the number of children,the nature of household registration,the educational background of parents,the economic condition of families,the family relationship and parenting style all have some influence on the whole or some dimensions of learning engagement.According to the research results and the objective facts,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the college students’ learning engagement through different ways in the family environment. |
