The combination of core literacy and school-based curriculum is a win-win attempt.Core literacy guides the development of school-based curriculum,points out which qualities students need to cultivate,and then defines the goals and contents of school-based curriculum development.School-based curriculum also provides an excellent platform for the implementation of core literacy.School-based curriculum development based on core literacy arises at the historic moment.The research on school-based curriculum based on core literacy has practical significance.In view of this,from the perspective of Kunshan junior high schools,the thesis conducts research from the theoretical and practical levels,and investigates 33 junior high schools in Kunshan city through questionnaires,interviews and other forms,mainly from the five aspects of the goal,content,development process,implementation and evaluation of school-based curriculum development based on core literacy,focusing on a detailed investigation of the current situation of school-based curriculum development based on core literacy in Kunshan city to restore the real situation.After investigation,the problems existed in the development of school-based curriculum based on core literacy in Kunshan junior high schools are as follows: the goal of the school-based curriculum is not really integrated with the "core literacy of student development";The content of the school-based curriculum is "fragmented and patched";Teachers "fight alone" in the development of school-based curriculum and "have more heart than ability".There are "faults" and "formalization" in the implementation of school-based curriculum.The evaluation form of school-based curriculum is single.After analysis,it is concluded that there are four main factors influencing the development of school-based curriculum in junior high schools based on core literacy in Kunshan city: The core literacy concept is integrated insufficiently when the education department’s doing the top-level design of the school-based curriculum;the school ignores the input of school-based curriculum development and the cultivation of students’ core literacy;the teachers lack the school-based curriculum development ability and core literacy awareness;the students don’t actively participate in the school-based curriculum participation process.Based on the problems existing in the core literacy-based school-based curriculum in junior high schools and its influencing factors,this paper seeks the strategies and suggestions to solve the problems in the core literacy-based school-based curriculum development from three aspects:education department,junior high schools and teachers.That is,education department should change the core literacy-based school-based curriculum development thinking,define the goals of school-based curriculum development,make an overall plan for the school-based curriculum development system,and build an all-round evaluation system for school-based curriculum development.Junior high schools should improve the construction of school-based curriculum development team,give full play to the role of school principals as "leaders" and encourage teachers,parents,communities and students to actively participate in the development of school-based curriculum.Teachers should establish the awareness of "core literacy",improve the ability of school-based curriculum development,and effectively combine school-based curriculum development with daily teaching work. |
