Research On Marx And Engels Research On Women’s Emancipation Of Thought And Its Innovative Development In Contemporary China

The question of how women can achieve equal status and rights with men in society has always been a perennial topic of discussion.Marx and Engels,in the process of founding the Marxist theoretical system more than 170 years ago,carried out in-depth research and studies on the issue of women’s emancipation and development,and subsequent Marxists have never given up exploring this issue in the process of social and historical development.In the process of exploring human emancipation,Marx and Engels,on the basis of the ideas of humanist scholars,European bourgeois-democratic scholars and idealistic socialists on women’s emancipation,and guided by the materialistic view of history,gradually concluded the evolution of women’s social status by examining the mode of production in early human society,and thus clarified that the imbalance between men and women was the inevitable result of the development of the productive forces to a certain extent.On this basis,Marx and Engels analysed the issues related to women’s emancipation from the great height of human emancipation and further pointed out that women’s emancipation,as one of the important components of human emancipation,should be included in the process of human emancipation as a whole,and that the basic way to achieve women’s emancipation is to enter society and participate in it.The basic way to achieve women’s emancipation is to enter society and participate in its productive work,and ultimately to achieve the full and free development of oneself.In this century,the struggle for women’s liberation has been in full swing in various countries,and with the successful practice of Marx and Engels’ idea of women’s liberation in socialist countries,the interpretation of this idea in Marx and Engels’ classical works has also received more and more attention and been explored,and its own scientific and practical light has been revealed.In China in particular,although the discussion on women’s emancipation has become quite systematic,in the face of the new socio-political and economic development and new historical conditions,we still need to return to the classic texts of Marx and Engels to promote the process of women’s emancipation and development in China under the guidance of theory and to build a better society with gender equality and harmony.It is against this background that the aim of this article is to conduct an in-depth reading of Marx and Engels’ works under the guidance of dialectical and historical materialism,and to sort out the theoretical sources,main contents and basic characteristics of Marx and Engels’ ideas on women’s emancipation in the light of existing research results,so as to examine the actual situation of women’s emancipation and development in China in the new era and to make an assessment of the various achievements of China’s women’s cause since the founding of the People’s Republic.It also examines the practical aspects of women’s emancipation and development in China in the new era.
