| The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should adhere to the priority development of agriculture and rural areas,consolidate the achievements in poverty alleviation,and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.With the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization,the township government plays an important role in grassroots governance,and township civil servants are the most grass-roots executors.Their working mood and state will directly affect the actual effectiveness of national policies and guidelines at the grassroots level.It is of great significance to ensure the positive work attitude and status of township civil servants,as they play an active role in social governance.Many studies have focused on the job satisfaction of township civil servants,while few studies have explored the relationship between job characteristics and work emotion.Based on the latest research progress of job characteristics,this study analyzed the relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction from the perspective of relational job characteristics,in order to provide theoretical support for improving the level of job satisfaction of township civil servants.This paper randomly selects 235 C-township civil servants through a questionnaire survey and adopts the empirical research method.The data is organized and analyzed by using SPSS 24.0 The main research content and conclusions are as follows: Firstly,the three variables of job involvement,job satisfaction and relational job characteristics have different degrees of demographic differences.There is no significant difference among the three in terms of service and job rank;In terms of gender,male civil servants have higher job involvement and relational work characteristics than female civil servants;In terms of age,older civil servants have higher job involvement than younger ones;In terms of educational background,civil servants at or below college level have higher job involvement,job satisfaction,and relational job characteristics than civil servants at or above college level.Secondly,there is a significant correlation between job involvement,job satisfaction,and relational job characteristics.The job involvement can positively explain job satisfaction.Relational job characteristics can positively predict job involvement and job satisfaction levels.Thirdly,the two dimensions of the relational work characteristics,namely the impact of work on service objects and contact with service objects at work,have a mediating effect between job involvement and job satisfaction.Based on the research results,targeted recommendations are proposed.Based on research results,targeted suggestions are proposed from three perspectives: job satisfaction,job involvement,and relational job characteristics,to strengthen the care for township civil servants,guide them to establish correct work values,and enhance communication with the masses. |
