Research On The Construction Of Political Ability Of United Front Cadres In Colleges And Universities In The New Era

Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and some major changes have taken place in the times,situations,missions and tasks shouldered by the united front,and the role played by the united front in the new era has become more important.Since the18 th CPC National Congress,the party has coordinated the "two overall situations," successively promulgated a series of laws,regulations,and documents,and achieved a series of important historical achievements in promoting united front work.United front cadres are the bridge and link between the party and the state and non-party personages and the key to carrying out united front work well.Xi Jinping pointed out that united front cadres should continuously improve their political judgment,political comprehension and political execution.Strengthening the political capacity building of united front cadres in colleges and universities is an inevitable requirement for strengthening the building of the contingent of united front cadres in colleges and universities,the meaning of strengthening the united front work in colleges and universities,the objective need for strengthening the building of the united front work,and the inherent requirement for strengthening the party’s political construction.On the basis of the interpretation of relevant concepts such as the new era,college united front cadres,and political capacity building,and based on the important expositions of Marxist classic writers and major leaders of the Communist Party of China on the political capacity building of party members and cadres and the construction of the united front,the case analysis method,survey and interview method,and literature research method are used to study the political capacity building of united front cadres in colleges and universities in the new era.Through online research on some representative colleges and universities across the country and on-site visits to some representative universities in Sichuan Province,the article found that the united front cadres of colleges and universities focused on the new requirements of political capacity building,consciously mastered the new methods of united front work,continuously strengthened their own political capacity building,further improved their political judgment,political comprehension and political execution,and promoted a series of achievements in the united front work of colleges and universities.However,the increasingly diversified social trends,complex network environment,and treacherous international environment have also brought new challenges for university united front cadres to strengthen their own political capacity building,continuously improve their political judgment,political comprehension,and political execution,further condense ideological consensus,and build online and offline concentric circles.In view of the new situation of political ability construction of united front cadres in colleges and universities in the new era,By clarifying the political direction,refining the political vision,strengthening the political position,improving the political literacy,strict political discipline,and implementing the political policy,we will continuously strengthen the political judgment,political understanding,and political execution of the united front cadres in colleges and universities,effectively respond to the risks and challenges from home and abroad,and continuously strengthen the construction of political capabilities.
