With the rapid development of population aging, the demand for old-age care is increasing day by day,and the pressure on the supply of old-age care is becoming increasingly serious. The social reality of getting old before getting rich has seriously affected regional social development. As an important carrier to provide elderly care services, the balanced distribution of elderly care facilities can improve the effectiveness of the utilization of elderly care resources and the quality of elderly care services. In this study,Shanghai is selected as the case study area, and old-age facilities such as nursing homes and nursing homes in Shanghai are taken as the research object. The number of beds and spatial coordinates of old-age facilities are obtained by crawling, and the basic geographic spatial database is established according to the location of old-age facilities, number of beds, and population data of each street and township. The API interface provided by Amap is used to calculate the time distance between the supply point of pension facilities and the demand point of the elderly population in the three travel modes of walking, public transport and driving. The calculated distance can better reflect the real situation. The distribution of pension facilities in Shanghai was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis.Taking streets and towns as the research unit, the accessibility of elderly care facilities from the perspective of supply and demand was calculated by using Gaussian two-step transfer search method and improved Huff model, and the accessibility from the two perspectives was compared to obtain the distribution equilibrium of elderly care facilities. The results show that:(1)The spatial distribution of pension facilities in Shanghai is unbalanced. The pension facilities are mainly concentrated in the central urban area, with about 72.1%,50.4% and 36.2% small, medium and large pension facilities, and 69.5%,43.8%and 27.1% small, medium and large pension beds, which are large and dense.(2)From the perspective of supply and demand, there is a significant gap in the accessibility level of elderly care facilities with different travel modes. The more convenient the travel, the better the accessibility level;Travel mode also has an important impact on the balanced distribution of pension facilities. The increase of travel convenience leads to easier access to pension resources, which makes the distribution of pension facilities more balanced.(3)From the perspective of supply, the accessibility equity of old-age care facilities is closely related to the travel mode. The more convenient the travel, the better the accessibility equity of each district.Under the driving mode, each district is in an absolutely fair state.
