Xi Jinping’s Important Exposition And Research On Agricultural And Rural Modernization

This paper takes Xi Jinping’s important expositions on agricultural and rural modernization as the research object,and conducts preliminary analysis and research on Xi Jinping’s important expositions on agricultural and rural modernization from several aspects,such as theoretical origin and practical foundation,relationship with Chinese-style modernization,important arrangements for agricultural and rural modernization,and the new realm of Marxism in the Sinicization era.Firstly,the theoretical origin of Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the modernization of agriculture and rural areas includes Marx and Engels’ important conclusion on agriculture and rural farmers,the thoughts on agriculture and rural farmers in Chinese excellent traditional culture,and the important discussion on the modernization of agriculture and rural areas by Chinese Communists before the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.It is based on three aspects: new changes in the principal contradiction of Chinese society,new problems in the development of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and new journey towards the second centenary goal.Second,Xi Jinping’s important exposition on agricultural and rural modernization is an important part of the theory of Chinese-style modernization.This paper has a clear understanding of the basic connotation and interrelationship between Chinese-style modernization and agricultural and rural modernization from four aspects: the basic connotation of Chinese-style modernization,the distinctive characteristics of Chinese-style modernization,the scientific implications of agricultural and rural modernization,and the important content of agricultural and rural modernization of Chinese-style modernization.Third,Xi Jinping made important arrangements for agricultural and rural modernization,summarizing from six aspects: adhering to the unique advantages of socialism with Chinese characteristics,taking the construction of a modern agricultural system as the starting point,effectively ensuring the safety of grain and other important agricultural products,improving the institutional mechanism and policy system for integrated urban-rural development,promoting agricultural and rural economic development in accordance with local conditions,consolidating and expanding the achievements in poverty alleviation and effectively linking rural revitalization.Fourth,Xi Jinping’s important expositions on agricultural and rural modernization have opened up a new realm of Sinicization of Marxism.On the one hand,the original contribution to the Sinicization of Marxism is to study three aspects: promoting agricultural modernization and rural modernization,establishing a new system of ecological civilization construction based on a community of life,and providing Chinese solutions for agricultural and rural modernization in backward countries.On the other hand,the spiritual sublimation of the Marxist era includes the leap of the "three rural areas" from "basic status" to "priority development",the transformation of agricultural operation from two-tier operation to diversified operation,and the evolution of urban-rural relations from urban-rural coordination to urban-rural integration.Correctly understanding and grasping Xi Jinping’s new viewpoints and theories on the issue of agricultural and rural modernization is conducive to correctly guiding the practice of China’s agricultural and rural modernization construction in the new era,and is of great significance to further grasping the latest achievements formed by Communist Party of China on the issue of agricultural and rural modernization and comprehensively building a modern socialist country.
